As we wanted to experience one 'fine dining' night whilst in Dubai we chose to visit the Embassy for dinner and after a little struggle to get a table booked (which was odd as the entire time we are there there were still empty tables) we settled down for a great evening of food and 'views'. The restaurant is on the 44th floor and we has a beautiful nighttime view all the way down the coastline which was lit up and gave a very romantic feel to the evening.
The service was exceptional. Just the right timing, not rushed or too long to wait, the food was lovely, my rabbit ravioli and duck breast (which was huge) was absolutely delicious and the slightly bizarre basil ice cream mixed perfectly with the other items in the dessert.
I will be honest and say the wine list is on the pricey side for 'normal' guests ie not those with bottomless wallets but we still found a bottle for around £80 but don't expect to pay much less and I felt almost guilty to be buying from the very bottom of the price range (some bottles were upwards of 35k AED) but nonetheless it was still a very nice bottle of wine so didn't feel too bad in the end.
After dinner we visited the bar and then the club and enjoyed some cocktails, the bar was much nicer as the club didn't feel that it had much of an atmosphere even though it was gone midnight and had a fair few people mingling around, still worth a visit though.
