“Very good, but...”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Well, lastima Saturday i went to the Desert Safari. First, they told me they would pick us up at one place and didn't show up, they started calling and hanging up and showed up somewhere else. The dune bashing was nice and the belly dancing and yantra show were great but the camel ride was too short!! I did it in Egypt and it was much longer! But if you've never done it, it's worth it! The food is ok! We bought it at groupon.com.ae and the price was great!

“Everything was good except the food”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

The ride on the dunes was thrilling. We were in the back seats of Land Cruiser and so enjoyed a lot.
There are activities like camel rides, soft drinks, tea-coffee, entertainment shows, barbeque dinner, belly dance show etc.
We enjoyed a dance act along with belly dance.
There were long queues to get food and the management couldn't do much to control the flow of people gathering for taking the food at the same time. We were disappointed. The food had vegetarian options but taste was ok.
Don't eat/drink too much after 2 pm as the desert safari starts from 4 pm onwards and the dune bashing can upset your stomach.

“must do”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

This is a must-do. Watch out for photographers who will be eager to click your snaps and will later on offer to sell copies to you at very expensive price. Dont waste time posing for them. Also take medicine for motion sickness if you are prone to it.

“Great Tour”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

Got picked up from the hotel and drove to desert which took about an hour to get there, we were then we got into our 4 x 4 and off we went into the desert had a great time and had lots of fun, after the dune bashing we were taken to a camp where we had lots of soft drinks to choose from and had a BBQ and the food was good, when you are waiting for your food there are 2 lines, one for women and 1 for men, there was entertainment of belly dancers and other acts, would recommend this tour.

“A must try!!!”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

I was there mid April this year. I am always a silent reader and now i have the urge to write this review to share to more people about this tour.

I went to Dubai in 2009 and oh the weather was so hot. I was sweating while waiting for my photo to be taken with Burj Al-Arab at 11pm.

April is a good time to go. It's breezy all the time although the temperature is 30 degree celcius, it's much cooler than it's suppose to be.

We went on this ride with Toyota Land Cruiser. Our driver did a great great job and drifted through the desert. The experience is a lifetime experience.

If you want to be adventurous, opt for the front seat. You will never regret joining this tour.

we experienced the evening ride comes with camel ride, ATV ride, dinner with belly dancing and whirling dance. Dancers were good. Especially the whirling dancer, gosh, he spinned non-stop i would say 15mins at least?

I dont mind to have a second ride in a Hummer maybe.
