Our tour group was mostly women. On the last day check out was at noon, final tour arrived back at 7 pm to take us to the airport. Everyone had to use the lobby washrooms. The men's had 3 stalls and 3 urinals. The women's had 2 stalls which had no toilet paper. Long lineup for the women -none for the men. Also had to ask for toilet paper for the room that housekeeping had not replaced.

From the chauffeur at the airport pickup to the reception and bellboys , all are very courteous , efficient and smiling and that makes you feel welcome and good. I got everything I asked for and quickly. That's the hallmark of good service.

Reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious , clean and well maintained.

I was in the suite 604 , which also had a jacuzzi.

Rooms are tastefully and thoughtfully done up with modern fittings ( including a tablet for the lights and TV. )

Though the location is little off the main road.

They also have a small pool and functional gym. There is a massage spa on the terrace floor.

Breakfast was included in the price and is large , tasty and good. They have ample selection.

Loved the hotel and I would highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel and conveniently located in Al Rigga. Facilities were good. Rooms are clean and staffs are accomodating. This hotel is worth recommending to other travellers. I was not able to check the pool but my total stay was superb.

I was only transition through Dubai for less than 20 hours, so I just needed a hotel that is near the Airport (or at least can be accessed via Dubai's metro system from the Airport), not too expensive, but also comfortable. Suba Hotel does fit all the criteria: It was only about US$40 in June (which is off-peak season), near Al Rigga Metro station (which is only a few stops from the Airport), and it is quite clean and comfortable.

It is in a side street of a residential area. While its facade is quite ordinary, the rooms are actually nicer than I expected.

Wi Fi is included and works smooth here.

This neighborhood is not really interesting, and there are no real tourist sights nearby. However, from Al Rigga Station, you can take metro trains to many of Dubai's tourist sights.

The fragrant smell and comfortable waiting area at the lobby will immediately give you the idea that this gem of a place is a step-up from the usual Deira hotels. A few minutes walk from the metro, the hotel is very convenient for tourists who wants to explore the cultural side of town (Gold Souk, riding an Abra, for starters).

The rooms are pleasant and clean. Well laid out with ample stocks in the mini-bar (there's a grocery store beside the hotel so if you need more/cheaper options, there's also that). The bathroom is clean with basic necessities. You can contact housekeeping for a toothbrush and perhaps a pair of slippers (I didn't see any during my stay).

I have a minor comment, though, with regards to the maintenance of the bathroom. I would only suggest that a thorough cleaning can be done instead of using only a spray and towel to clean the tub.

Overall, Suba Hotel is a very competitive option with reasonable rates and hospitable staff. For Deira hotels, I definitely recommend this.

Room tip: Make sure to ask for Mr. Akshay for special assistance on your bookings.
