Description: Table 9 is a unique concept restaurant in Dubai that has become a platform for talented chefs to create their own bespoke dining experience. Located in the Hilton Dubai Creek, table 9 has earned a reputation for high-quality, original menus and a personalized dining experience. The latest evolution introduces a brand new bistro-styled concept that guarantees a flavorsome indulgence. The range of starters is designed to encourage sharing and includes luscious options such as the Homesmoked Table 9 Salmon, organic quinoa & burrata salad or the infamous Steak Tartar that naturally leads to the main courses like the palate-pleasing Veal Tenderloin with smoked pumpkin puree & gremolata or the generous US Angus Prime Rib Eye with the homemade triple-cooked chips and béarnaise. When the culinary climax is reached the signature desserts like the Poached Grapes Panna Cotta or the Table 9 Rhubarb & Custard classic are sure to leave you intrigued for new adventures. This modern version of a casual-chic bistro welcomes you to an extraordinary experience whether it is a casual dinner with family and friends, a special occasion or a famous Dubai Brunch. Started in 2011 by Gordon Ramsay's protégés, Nick Alvis & Scott Price and later under the reign of Darren Velvick the restaurant has won several public and industry awards for its innovative approach to modern European cuisine.

In a city full of copy restaurants, Table9 is an original. Great innovate food and the best maitre d' and sommeiller I have experienced. I hope the Dubai dining scene can become more like this...

My wife and I booked table 9 (located at the Hilton on the creek side - not where Tripadvisor sent us intially) for our last night in Dubai. We couldn't get table between 6:30 and 9:15 so had a late night. It was worth it. I am not sure if Friday nights are busy but be advised to book early if you want to get a reasonable time.

When we arrived we were advised by an attentive waiter to order two small plates (80D) and one large (100D), indicating the portions are small. There is also a tasting menu of about 6 dishes for about 400D. We ordered one of each to leave some space for desert, and were sated.

Some fresh bread and butter was brought to the table. The bread was good, and plentiful: small crusty white rolls and slices of flavourful dark rye. It was accompanied by a complimentary appetiser, a tiny cauliflower soufflé topped with spices. It was suggested we mix the two before we eat the dish, which was delightfully light and quite tasty, even for one not too fond of cauliflower.

For a small plate, Jo ordered the pigeon and was very pleased. I was too conservative and went for the salmon with avocado which, although it was good, was not very exciting. The larger plates was more successful for me. The two strips or guinea fowl was cooked with a crisp skin and accompanied by crispy proscuitto - very tasty and a great combinationof flavours. Jo was also very happy with her halibut. Desserts wers also good, particularly my choclate concotion with icecream around a cripsy choclate centre contraining a lovely sablglione-like caramel cream.

The restaurant also has a small but well chosen international wine list including one of my Australian favouraites, D'Arenburg's Hermit Crab Viognier/Marsanne blend, some at reasonalbe prices by the glass, although you can go crazy if you have the required funds.

Service was very good from the generally young and enthusiatic staff. The decor is OK and the tables comfortable and well spaced, but otherwise the setting is unremarkable. We weren't near the monitor to the kitchen mentioned in other reviews.

All up, three courses with two glasses of wine each and one dessert wine was 625D (about A$180) Very reasobnable for this standard of food.

A fantastic relaxing evening in great unpretencious surroundings - the focus being on the food and the service. Knowledgeable, attentive staff - there just when you need them and no more. Fantastic intense flavours within a creative and varied menu. Directly dealt with specific dietary needs on the night - all taken in their stride. We will return - most definitely.
