Very cheap and easy to use. state of the art system. You feel as though you have entered Metropolis when you go to the new Dubai as it's full of brand new buildings. The Metro has stops every few hundred metres so you're always close to a station. Great prices. It was a little over £1 for a journey in one zone and not much more to travel to other zones. Trains every few mins too. clean carriages with English speaking alerts about which station is next, as well as a map on the train so you know where to get off. Highly recommend.

Very cheap. Air conditioning in the station and trains. It’s a great way to get around but is gets very busy. Its busy most of the day to be honest. The biggest problem is that it’s only two lines and the tram in the marina. If they had more lines it would be even better.

I live in Dubai and I use metro for a few years. I have to say it was pretty good since recently. Since few weeks ago there is no more AC in the metro buildings. Considering that it's 40 degrees outside and you have to walk quite a lot inside the building I find it unbearable. When you enter train there is AC, and everything is fine, but outside it's a hell!
