Excellent service and ambiance. The food is high end Chinese cuisine. A must is the wasabi fried prawn as well as the fried prawns. A unique experience. The exceptional and must try are definitely the beef puff and the braised beef with black pepper. Now I know the melt in your mouth feeling.

Went to Hukama last night for a Chinese New Year dinner. First impression was nice, with great atmosphere inside, unfortunately the food began to arrive soon after. We both opted for the set menu at a whopping 488 aed excluding alcohol. This consisted of 4 pieces of dim sum per person, 2 TINY pieces of Peking Duck per person (which was a joke), a bowl of soup, and assorted mains which shouldn't cost more than 100 aed. The seafood fried rice was under cooked, and contained 3 tiny prawns cut up. I have had better rice on airplanes.

The food was bland, and not at all Chinese really. Extremely overpriced and mediocre, you can get better Chinese food delivered for a fraction of the cost. Total price was 1300 aed including a bottle of wine, and I do believe this was by far the worst meal I've ever had in Dubai regarding value for money.

We asked to speak to the manager at the end of the meal, there was no manager in the restaurant. On Chinese New Year, the manager of a "high-end" Chinese restaurant wasn't even in the restaurant, and there was no supervisor. In the end, nobody cared about our experience. I have eaten at Address restaurants 3 times in the past week (Zeta,Asado,Hakuma), this experience has convinced me to find other hotel venues, ones that care about their customers and not just money.

Hukama is a top chinese restaurant in Dubai. Here you can find great athmoshpere combines with excellwnt food! Avoid to dine outside if you are not a smoker since all the guest go outside for a fag. If you like to enjoy a great viwe after dinner go to the top of the same building and have a drink at NEOS! fantastic , maybe even better before dinner at the sunset. Hukama is a great food experience. We had tiger prawns as starter, duck, and stir fried beef. FANTASTIC. The vine is too expensive we had a beer instead! Dessert is the week point we did not have any. Price in the average for a top class restaurant in Dubai.

We booked Hukama for New Year’s Eve for the dinner and then views of the fireworks. We opted for the 8 course set meal with unlimited selected house wines and bubbly. This also included a selection of cocktails. Costs 900 AED each.

The menu was very varied and included appetizer platter of dim sum followed by BBQ platter of duck and soya chicken. Then followed by 7 main courses and desert with cafe and petit fours. The bubbly flowed throughout the evening and there were no restrictions on drinks. At 11.45 pm we went onto the terrace to watch the fireworks. We really enjoyed the evening - the service was attentive and timely and the food was beautifully served.

A few things to watch out for - we noticed tables of 4 comprised of 2 separate couples - not sure I would be happy to book and pay for an expensive event and then share a small table with a couple of strangers. Smoking is allowed on the terrace but as this is a narrow terrace area which has dining tables. This resulted in smokers standing right next to the diners tables on the terrace. I think Hukama could have handled this better. Otherwise a really enjoyable evening and we would certainly consider booking Hukama again.
