Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a hotel/shop/restaurant complex nearby Burj Al Arab hotel. The place is quite tranquil and reminds me of Vegas. There are numerous options for eating both inside and outside plus some souvenir shops.

We arrived at 7pm for our dinner and place was almost empty. The menu is heavy on Middle-Eastern dishes, including Mezzas, grills and kebabs.
We've ordered mixed seafood and meat grills and couple of Mezzas. Word of caution - dishes are plentiful and it is very easy to over-order (e.g. when they say that the mixed grill is for 2 people, it is more likely for 3). Food was quite good and tasty I just don't understand why the mixed grills would come with french fries (quite un-middle eastern) but they also provided some rice free of charge.
We ordered 3 starters to share, 1 mixed meat grill and 1 mixed seafood grill for the company of four, and we maybe managed to eat 2/3 of it - we took the rest home. Our check was around $50 per person without alcohol.

The area is amazing, in the famous jumeira souk!
I stopped by because i was attracted by the atmosphere of the restaurant so we decided to have dinner here!
We got a royal plate for 3 of meat and it was delicious! It was a very big portion so we didnt even finished it! Then some arabian sauces to match with the meat and we paid around 50€ each! Its worthy for the atmosphere the furnishing and the kindness of the staff!!

Located in the artificial souk of DXB, the restaurant offers a variety of Arab-style dishes.
There is a big variety of starters, the mains are more "concise".

The food itself is tasty and good quality.
One dish was not 100% hot and the staff was making effort to fix the problem.

We had seat outside on the balcony with A/C in the ceiling looking on one of the canals going through the souk. Not a breathtaking view.

Overall all a good restaurant which is not that formal, nicely decorated but do not expect exceptional views.

As I'm a huge fan of the Arabic cuisine I was happy to visit such a great restaurant in Dubai. I loved the location of the restaurant, its authentic atmosphere and the food which was absolutely delicious!!! You can taste almost everything in there, all the main dishes of the national cuisine!! I highly recommend this place for those people who wants to try the Arabic food!!!

We went there for my wife to discover lebanese food and an exotic place. Service was very poor, they should learn how to smile, waiter came very late, food was below average compared to other lebanese restaurants in dubai.
Pricing is extremely high, more than 120 AED (~35$) for shish taouk (2 chicken skewers, oily fries and half an onion is a rip off).
One of guys sitting in a table in front of us, did not eat his meal and when leaving he throws a napkin in the plate, one of the mangers removed the napkin and took that specific plate to the kitchen. A weird behavior from the restaurant manager.
When we wanted to redeem 20% discount we got from Big Bus, they only applied 15%, when we asked they bluntly said that it was already preset in their system and they couldn't change anything, they just served us the famous "sorry ma'am"
One advice: DON'T GO THERE
