“Just can't get enough of it!”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

On our trip to dubai this April 2013, Me and my family along with a friend took the aqua venture rides pass. I must share that this waterpark is by far the best! They have craziest rides. One being the LEAP OF FAITH. Where you almost slide at 10degree from around 50 meters. I and my friend took the leap of faith ride first and boy thats one crazy thing to do!!! You fall and SPLASH you go in the water. Apart from this there are 6 more activities and one of them is the SHARK ATTACK. You slide in the water and you pass through a glass tunnel surrounded by shark. Well for some secs it makes you feel good. The RAPIDS is a good thing to do. Overall great experience.

Tips for a good experience
- Book in advance through online to avoid que. They also have a discount ticket if you book one day in advance.
- Do not forget to carry towel as they charge extra for it
- Carry a small bag to avoid locker fee.
- MOST IMPORTANT - all rides require an air tube which is freely available. Once you get it dont leave it till you are done with your rides.

“Behind the scenes tour is not to be missed”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

Booking Tickets: Suggest you take a combo offer of lost chambers & aqua park, if you intend to visit the aqua park. When booking the lost chambers ticket ensure that you take behind the scenes tour - this is not to be missed.

Lost Chambers: Simply put an aquarium with Atlantis(lost city) theme and very well done. I liked this better than the Dubai Mall aquarium. Also like the way tanks are designed and placed at various intervals. The main chamber is gigantic and next to the viewing area they have padded mats with huge cushions inviting you to sit and soak the mesmerising experience of sea life swimming by. I just sat down and kept watching for more than 30 minutes - a diff world.

Behind the scenes tour: This is a guided tour & truly an out-of-the-world experience. My daughter loved this especially the fish hospital. The whole tour is about how the lost chambers and its 65000 marine animals are taken care of from water filtration systems, breeding, sick marine animals etc This is a must do.

Outside the entrance to Lost chambers is a pricier cafe where you can sip a coffee and watch sea life from a diff angle of the main lost chamber. I do not think all the tickets have access to this area.

Going back was a problem as getting a taxi from the monorail drop was a huge problem.

“Get lost in the those chambers!!!”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

I went there with my sister and her kids. We'd been to other aquariums before, but this one is totally worth the visit. Having ceiling to floor fish tanks around you, with the added ancient legends elements is a true imagination-teasing experience.
The kids may not have learnt all the scientific facts about fish, but it was defnitely an experience for them, and us, to remember.

I totally recommend it. If you happen to be in a hotspot where you have to choose this or the Dubai Aquarium in Dubai Mall, I would say it will depend when what you are looking for. The Dubai Mall Aquarium has a whole underwater zoo, with penguins, all kinds of fish, turtles, etc. There are signs and info on everything. The one in Atlantis is made to set your imagination free!!!

“Aquarium in Atlantis and The Palm”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

The shuttle bus from our Hotel (Premier Inn) dropped us off at the Atlantis Hotel, which is amazing, huge, great for families and it has so many activities to do, but the best one we saw was the Aquarium. Cost about $28 to go in, but it was amazing, huge, with all types of fish swimming around. Afterwards we walked thru the hotel to the monorail which we took across The Palm, a man made island in the shape of a palm tree, and could see all the houses of the rich and famous. Didn't get a return ticket, but got off at the Gateway from where we caught a cab to the closest metro station.
