Description: The home of Cuisine Nicoise, whose origins lie in old Genoese cooking, is the old town of Nice where French Mediterranean cuisine has blended and evolved with the influences of Ligurian Italy across the border. Local produce, notably artichokes, courgettes, lemons, olives, tomatoes, peppers and girolles are used generously with sea food, meat and fresh pasta to produce a style that's light and healthy. Oil obtained from olives groves on the hills of the Alpes Maritimes behind Nice and extending into Liguria is used throughout.

Nothing else to add, other than you won't be disappointed... It may cost you a little more, but worth it!!

“Worthy of the name”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

La Petite Maison in Dubai it is worthy for sure to bear the legendary name of its Nice franchisor. To be absolutely honest, this new trendy place in (somewhat odd but very “in” nowadays because of places like this and Zuma) DIFC (downtown business district in Dubai close to the Stock Exchange building and Emirates Towers) it’s more to my liking than its old and (tastefully I must admit!) somewhat passé but oh, so busy and so good! …aunt in downtown Nice.
The cuisine is absolutely to die for, featuring South-Eastern France and North Italian dishes. The atmosphere is busy and who’s who of Dubai frequents it giving the place a subtle trendy note. The staff it’s carefully chosen, styled and trained well and one feels like in any trendy London or New York yuppie place together with the eventual patronizing attempt of the opinionated and pretentious waiters who claim to know better. But a savvy restaurant goer gets the situation under control quickly as there is no substance to the attempt and, after all, the Middle East is essentially laid back. The wine choice is fair and fairly priced considering where the restaurant is located on the world’s map and I don’t think I am exaggerating at all saying that this was the best meal I had in Dubai on my last week-long trip. Two people three-course dinner was around 350 Euros of which half was for the French red wine. A fair value for the experience, I must say.

“Great Food, slightly overrated”

I went there expecting much more. I have been to Petit Maison in Niece and I enjoyed the food more. maybe the ingredients are different there. Not worth the hype!!

“Impressive Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

The ambience is pretty good but I was not overly impressed with service for such a high class restaurant. However, the food so good I was more than willing to overlook the shortcomings. The food was absolutely first class and the waiters were very good, I am afraid the female sommelier was not exactly happy or chatty or even smiley which was a let down!
