The hotel is located near the Dubai Mall. You can walk there along the highway in about 10 minutes or take the hotel shuttle. It's quicker to walk as the bus goes a contorted off road route and drops you on the other side of the road anyway. Rooms are what you would expect of a business hotel. Basic but sufficient. Clean enough though and quiet given the amount onf construction ongoing around the hotel. The hotel is not really anywhere near anything so you need to go out to do anything. No taxis seem to come by so you will have to wait for a taxi dropping someone else off or pay the premium of the hotel cars. This is quite a drawback of the place. Breakfast was OK but not extensive. Same for the lunches. We did not see anyone using the pool. It's not the kind of place you are going to go to for the pool. The bar looked uninviting and was very cold so we left there rather quickly. Reception is functional. We spent ages waiting for someone to answer the phone when calling the 'one stop service' button. In the end it was quicker to go down to reception as no one ever answered. We were there as I had a training course there so it was convienient. All in all, stay was OK (for Dubai) but I can't say I'll be rushing back.More
