“My new favorite Hotel in Dubai!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

It all starts when you first walk in and you feel instantly at home! The welcome at the door, the genuine smiles and the great service that I got when I first checked in all contributed to a feeling or serenity. I arrived jet lagged and tired around 1:00am but by the time I was in bed, I was feeling very relaxed.

I usually try to stay at a different hotel every other time that I'm in Dubai but for my next trip, I immediately chose the Ritz again because of how good my experience was. Can't say the same thing about a certain high end hotel located in Burj Dubai!

I can't think of anything negative to add to my review! This is as good as it gets in any Dubai Hotel and I would highly recommend this property to anyone who visits Dubai.

I stayed at the RC DIFC for a couple of nights for leisure and really loved it. From the moment you step out of the car to the moment you leave the hotel you are able to experience the true Ritz Carlton service. Employees call you by name and they are very attentive. The facilities are great. The pool is kind of small but when I visisted there was no one except for me, so that was good enough. The spa is also very nice and worth a visit. The room are spacious and I loved the bathroom. It was gigantic! I also had the chance to take a bubble bath after I don't know how long ;-) I also had one of the best sleep experiences of my life. Bed is big great and confortable!
Would definitely recommend staying here!

I stayed in this hotel along with my colleagues for some meetings. The hotel lives up to its reputation as part of Ritz chain. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished. We had free wifi as part of package and it worked almost everywhere in the hotel.

Bathroom was spacious with all amenities. The mirror in the bathroom has a built-in TV. A good feature if you are watching a cricket or football match and don't want to miss a single minute of coverage.

Breakfast was good. Lunch served during our meetings was also very good.

Service was above the usual standard that you experience in other hotels - surely a trait that differentiates Ritz from the rest.

DIFC entrance is just 2 minutes walk from hotel. The nearest metro station is 7-8 minutes walk. Apart from the restaurants in DIFC, there are other restaurants at walking distance. If you have meetings in DIFC then this surely is an ideal place to stay.

One over-restricting factor is that you can not go to the floor other than the floor on which you are staying. I think this is too tough. A hotel guest should have access to other floors too. We had to come down to lobby to go to the room of our colleague staying on another floor. Knowing that many of us were staying on different floors, the reception staff was kind enough to provide additional floor key to some of us to access other floors.

Overall, it was a very good experience and I highly recommend this hotel for business travellers.

When some people go to Dubai they focus on the beach properties, for me its all about the service regardless of the location. This was my second stay at this property and once again I found the service to be absolutely spectacular.

The Club Level (or Club Lounge access) is a must if you enjoy a great breakfast and light snacks between glasses of champagne (all inclusive).

The property is a short 20 minutes from DXB by taxi which is much cheaper but not as nice as their car service. Alternately you can take the monorail directly from the airport quite near the hotel. It is only a short walk but always hot so best to take a short cab ride from there or ask them to pick you up.

On this trip I sampled the suites, needing two beds the first night we stayed in the smaller suite, it was nice but not really a suite. It just had a living room that wasn't separated at all from the rest of the room. It did have a balcony but it is Dubai so I only went on it at night.

The following night I moved up to a full suite, the room was huge. The living room was the size of the bedroom and bath combined. Well worth it if you need the space.

This property remains in my top two for Ritz-Carlton once again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the millenium gate have a great view.

Stayed two nights as meetings were held in the hotel. Room was a luxiourious suite with a large sofa, large TV and entertainment centre. Remote control blinds, huge bathroom with a shaving mirror that was also a tv, basically what you expect in a hotel like this!

Service was completely professional, with attentive staff. Food was very good and well presented.

Compared to some of the other Dubai business restaurants, the new Ritz in the financial district (not to be confused with the Ritz near the Marina) is surprisingly subdued in its bling factor. The staff are well trained and attentive. The gym is large and well equipped. Nice business center etc. One of the better business hotels. The only complaint was the food which was neither inventive nor particularly good (eg: hard felafels, unripe fruits)

Stayed in this hotel during my last business trip: I arrived very late at night (around 3am) and was pleasantly suprised to be upgraded. The room was fantastic: lovely sitting area with comfy sofa and working table, great and comfy bedroom with a big bed and i loved, simply loved the bathroom: it was absolutely huge, had TV in the mirror and had all necessary toilettries that you can think off. I had internet included in my room rate: but only one device is included in the room prices. The like the buffet breakfast: it has very good selection of food and fresh fruit. The hotel staff was very friendly and polity and very efficient.
I loved the gym and the spa area. If you take exersize seriously, this gym is definitely for you.
I would be coming back to this hotel.
