“Comfortable”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

Kris Kin is a comfortable hotel and good value for the money. The rooms are in good space, 1 bathtub and a shower in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed and different selection of pillows. Only negative is there's no free wi-fi in the rooms. Only in the lobby... Breakfast is ok.
Good business hotel.

I stayed 16th to 18th June 2012 and this was an excellent hotel. Arabian Adventures booked our hotel and tours and they recommended this hotel, which was just what we wanted. Rooms were beautful and have all the amenities you could want. About a 5 minute walk to the monorail station and the monorail is excellent way to get around, especially for shopping. About 10mins walk to the creek. The Restaurant and bar at the hotel are great, we had dinner here and the food was amazing, as was the view. Breakfast was great, everything you could want. Definatley recommend.

The location is not excellent, but it is somehow in between everything so it's like a 15-20 minutes taxi ride almost everywhere you want to go. Not to far from the airport, about 10-15 minutes without too much traffic.

Hotel is fairly new, clean and the service is good. Only thing is they did not manage to organize a rental car as promised.

Stayed here one night during Ramadan. Boy did I get hungry during the day!

Anyway, the check-in process and room itself were quite nice, though the lobby area was quite plain for a 5 star hotel. It's close to the Khalid bin al wahid and al karaba metro stations. An easy walk if not for the intense heat. To avoid the heat walk across the street and into the Burjuran mall to get to the metro. Lots of eating places nearby, but can't comment since they were closed for Ramadan. Also cheap chinese massage places close by after all the walking you did at the shopping malls.

Back to the hotel. Rooms were comfortable with nice views of the hazy skyline.

We chose this hotel because we found a great deal - it was a friend trip and we are short of money :) - and the hotel was just perfect, with huge rooms, a nice rooftop pool with a great view, and good service. One of the best hotels I've ever seen.

Good sized room, convenient location and restaurant with a fantastic view on the top floor although the selection of food is a bit of an odd mix.

It's a tall thin hotel so the roof space is tiny so there is a tiny pool and just a few chairs around it so not much chance of a lounger if the weather is good.

most annoying aspect was that when you check out they send a guard to check the mini bar to see if you've stolen anything or not and essentially treat all guests as potential criminals

Room Tip: Don't ask them to unlock the mini bar!
