We chose this hotel because we found a great deal - it was a friend trip and we are short of money :) - and the hotel was just perfect, with huge rooms, a nice rooftop pool with a great view, and good service. One of the best hotels I've ever seen.

Good sized room, convenient location and restaurant with a fantastic view on the top floor although the selection of food is a bit of an odd mix.

It's a tall thin hotel so the roof space is tiny so there is a tiny pool and just a few chairs around it so not much chance of a lounger if the weather is good.

most annoying aspect was that when you check out they send a guard to check the mini bar to see if you've stolen anything or not and essentially treat all guests as potential criminals

Room Tip: Don't ask them to unlock the mini bar!

Was there last weekend, overall stay was OK, staff are very well trained, pleasant, had one major issue during check-in. The room was reserved through booking.com, rate was 368AED plus taxes. we opted to add the 75AED extra charge for the internet, although many hotels in Dubai have started to provide free wifi in rooms. Upon check-in, the receptionist said that the room which was allocated on 3rd floor, does not include internet????? we said, that we have already paid for that on b.com, then this went into an argument which had no sense at all. We were then proposed to be upgraded to a higher floor for an additional 60AED, and were told that internet is included in this room?!?! We did not argue, and went for it, in fact, its like we paid twice for the internet. Something which was not clearly explained and not convincing at all. They gave us a room on the 16th floor, the view is amazing, but surprisingly at night, even so high you can still here the night club boum boum! Soundproofing? Room was nice, but shame they don't have proper reading light lamps.

I stayed in this hotel from the 8th to 12th of July. The hotel is located about 15-20 mins away from Burj Khalifa by Metro. The actual location of the hotel is about 100 meters away from Burjuman mall and 500 meters away from the nearest metro station. I stayed in the Burj Executive room which got me a couple extra goodies included in my room rate. When you book the Burj Executive room you get shuttle service from and to the airport, welcome water bottle and cold towel, at the hotel you are greeted with a cool orange juice. You also get breakfast in your room rate as well as happy hour which runs from 6-8pm, this gets you a range of cocktails and beers as well as snacks and light dinner which I have to say was quite good. If you want breakfast in your room is very as well for the Burj Executive guests as well as wired and wireless internet. You also get access to the Burj Executive business center meeting rooms and light snacks, coffe, tea as well.

The breakfast was OK but could have used a bit more variety in my view, service in the breakfast lounge was also good.

Now for the actual service provided at the hotel, the overall experience was good considering the price you pay, I paid around 160 per night, the hotel is rated 5 stars but in my view it is a true 4 star hotel. If your looking for a true 4 star hotel and dont mind walking to the metro everyday than this is a good deal, I did allot of searching and this is the only hotel I found with this price range that included all the amenities list above. The only downside is that its 15-20 mins away from down-town and over an hour away by metro from Dubai Marina and Palm Jumierah. Metro fair is 8-15 dirhams both ways so its best to the take the metro.
