After reading on tripadvisor absout this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel was very nice! The staff was very helpful (like getting us a taxi when we asked for it). The breakfast buffe had a lot to choose from and the food was fresh. We lived on the 11th floor and had a nice view. No disturbing noise! The pool on the roof was perfect when it was 30 degrees C.
I stayed in Ramee Rose Hotel Dubai on a 3-week business trip and I would not recommend it to anybody. The room was spacious but not clean. The fridge "kind of" worked (my colleague's didn't work at all and it took them 3 days and some screaming to replace it). There was a nasty smell in the bathroom, especially if you turned off the air conditioning. The staff was not helpful and they had trouble communicating in english. Although my room was booked for 3 weeks and wifi was included, I had to beg and shout to get a weekly pass. Nobody ever refilled the mini bar or brought new napkins or toilet paper unless you asked. The breakfast buffet was very indian-oriented, plus they cooked omelets in the breakfast room, so after breakfast you ended up smelling like kitchen... On Thursdays and Fridays I could hear the music from the club at the 1st floor, even though I stayed on the 8th. And last, but certainly not least, I saw a cockroach in the restaurant...
When I started to read the reviews I was unsure what to expect, but I have been very impressed by the hotel and its staff. The staff from check in to house keeping and the restaurants were always polite and friendly. The room was spacious and clean with complimentary wifi, tea and coffee. The hotel is not close to anything of interest but the taxis are cheap and most places I wanted to get to were within 15 minutes. Great value, clean nice rooms and friendly staff it gets my vote
I stayed here while i was waiting on my new apartment being painted and had a great experience. The Tecom area i wouldn't reccommend for tourists as you need to travel outside of this area for any attractions but if you need accommodation on the cheaper side, this is the one. It's not too far from the metro station and supermarket is nearby and taxi's are easily accessible. Clean and tidy accommodation with good service and a relaxed bar downstairs. Breakfast is just ok!
I've been staying at this hotel for the past two weeks (i'm book in for a months stay for work). The hotel itself is fine, it's clean enough and the location is good. However, I have to say my experience of this place has been terrible. The first room i was put in was on the 7th floor, the plasma didn't work properly, every day for one week i asked for someone to look at it....they never did...anyway the noise from the 'rock bottom' night club kept me up every night until past 3am so i ended up moving to the 13th floor. However, this room isn't much better as at the weekend the volume from the night club is too much....so if you stay here, then good luck trying to get a good nights sleep. Also, when i phoned down to complain I was told that the night club was nearly finished and i'd only have to listen to the noise for another 20minutes.....STAY AWAY from this hotel!!
