Stayed one night at this hotel, as it was convenient for the airport. Ended up booking this hotel as the reviews were pretty good and was on the list as a hotel which accepted bookings via Avios points. So was able to get over jet lag before moving onto a resort hotel in Jebil Ali. We arrived at the hotel at 09.00 so was quite surprised when the reception staff apologised that the room wasn't ready, we were expecting them to say we would have to wait until about 14.00. We sat down and took advantage of the free coffee and dates they have in reception.. Room was ready at 10.00 a.m and what a lovely room, large comfy bed, nice bathroom with plenty of toiletries. All the usuals in the wardrobe, safe, robes, plenty of hanging space. This hotel is on a major road but we didn't experience any noise either from the road or any corridor noise, had a good nights sleep in a very comfy king size bed. The next morning we had a great breakfast with everything you could ever want, catering for all cultures. As we weren't checking out until 12.00 we went up to the pool, it was great, only a few people there, so was lovely to enjoy the peace and sun, and be away from the snow in the UK. I don't know if there is anywhere you can walk to from here, as we didn't try, we did get a taxi to Festival Mall to see the water and light show, about a 10 minute journey. I wouldn't stay here for longer than a couple of nights, but I am sure with further investigation it is probably convenient for most attractions. I did notice a sign in reception stating they operated a shuttle to a mall, I didn't notice which and Al Mamzar park, which is one of my favourite beaches in Dubai. The staff were wonderful, so courteous and attentive. Overall very impressed.
