I have been in dubai for 4days and choose this hotel via booking.com ,website its showing its a "4star hotel" i think this hotel parent group name should be '4star' there is no 4star facilities, the rooms are very small and even 2 people cant walk inside the room,at night its difficult to sleep because the sound from the clubs its in the hotel . wifi is poor,,think they are still using some dial up connection for internet connectivity .please think twice before for you book this hotel ...

With my friends I spent 3 days at this hotel.Clean rooms, smiling and helpfull staff, satisfactory breakfast. But one thing to avoid, don't take a room from the first floor, because there is a arabic night club on the ground floor, and the voice of the music and drums causes you a uncomfortable sleep.

We booked this room when other reservations elsewhere fell through and we were left scrambling for something else with no notice. This hotel is very cheap by Canadian standards, so you can imagine how cheap by Dubai standards. We upgraded from a 2 single bed room to a king bed suite. Hotel is located on corner of 2 very busy streets. All is clean, staff are very friendly and very helpful. Rooftop pool is just lovely, with large, lush towels waiting for you, and the water kept very temperate. Bottled water, tea, coffee (instant) available in the room. The suite has 2 tv's, one in the bedroom the other in the salon. Lush bathrobes and slippers provided. For the money, it's outstanding. It is located in an area that is mostly populated by East Asian workers, so the back alleys can be full of sketchy-looking store-fronts and places you would NOT want to eat. But it's really very safe. It's a $10 cab fare from downtown Dubai, which is terrific. The only drawbacks are that yes, the boom-boom-boom from the disco(s) is unbelievable. I took the quietest room available, because I read the other reviews, and I can still hear it. So bring ear plugs. And the furnishings are fine, but a long, long way from luxurious. The single bed rooms are quite tiny. But if you intend only to use them to sleep, then saving the money is worth it. STAY ON THE 3RD FLOOR AND BRING GOOD EAR PLUGS. Do this, and you'll enjoy your stay.

Room Tip: STAY ON THE 3RD FLOOR!! Or be frank with the reception and tell them that you KNOW that it's noisy with the club music until 3 a.m., and get them to give you a room you will be safe from the chaos.

Double rooms ,very small, little congestion with furniture.Food ok.

Reception area also is congested.Room service should confirm the calls at night regarding any complaint and then call up the concerned inmates of the room.

Room Tip: Take a room overlooking the the main road, preferably the third floor corner room with a good view.

Discourteous reception and management staff. Poor facilities. Shoved into a bedroom next door to the in-house night club with unbearable noise from 9 pm to 3 pm - the wall by the bed literally vibrating to the bass beat the whole time. Arriving at 9 am after an uncomfortable night flight, nowhere suitable to relax - hotel suggested we waited for the next 5 hours by the roof-top swimming pool, in the heat of the day, no refreshments. Ordered a coffee in the foyer - never arrived. Place is situated in an industrial area of the city, nowhere nearby for newcomers to find refreshments and relax, 15 minutes walk to nearest tube station. Management refused until 4 am to move us to a suitable room. They have refused claim for apology/compensation. So have UK booking agent - Travelbag. Do not stay at the Fortune Grand Deira.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else
