The hotel is clean and service is good. It was close to a metro station and also walkable distance from Mall of Emirates. Food was good but the breakfast is standard and hard any indian dishes. So it is very difficult for vegeterial people.

Huge hotel, good rooms, well maintained. People at reception are very nice and helpful can't say same about the restaurant though. Al barsha metro station is just behind this property. so connectivity is nice then emirates maill, Palm Jumeirah also very close to this hotel.

First impression stained couches in the lobby. The minute I entered the room I wanted to check out. The mini bar was a joke The carpets were all stained. The bathroom was disgusting and not cleaned, questionable stains on ceiling??? The food wasn't fit for a dog. No late ceck out. The worst hotel experiance I ever had.

Well it started off well enough. Check in was easy, reception staff very friendly, lobby very nice etc. But when I exited the elevator on the 5th floor i was met with drab brown wall paper and very dirty navy blue carpet. I mean this carpet looked as if it hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner in months. Entered the room and again first impression was good. Nice size, good view. However the bathroom had a sour smell, most likely from the shower curtain and the black water stains that were all over the ceiling and around the light that was hanging out of place. I dont like shower curtains as it often leads to a problem with water spilling over, but that was never going to happen here. I realised that the following morning when I saw the water pressure on the shower..a drizzle! I had booked a junior suite for 2 adults but there was only one robe and one coat hanger in the closet. I requested and received another robe and some hangers. I have to say the staff are friendly. On inspection of the small kitchenette, it was devoid of any sort of dish except for a kettle and 2 cups/saucers. I have never stayed in a suite in Dubai that didn't have a couple of plates, pans, cutlery etc. This room had a 2 hotplate cooker that had a plug but no outlet and not a single pan, plate or spoon. I am not sure how anyone could have used that kitchen to prepare a meal? We were also told that hotel policy did not allow food purchased outside to be brought in to the hotel..The following day I was out from 6.15 am to 4.35pm but still returned to find the room not cleaned. I went down to reception and requested it please be cleaned while i waited. When I say cleaned..the general consensus of our group was that cleaning consisted of making beds and emptying bins..that was all they ever did. Any stains or spills on kitchen bench or table remained untouched. I wiped down the kitchen bench myself and was horrified by the dirty brown marks on my wet wipe. Evidence of very old stains. Fortunately there is a small supermarket right outside the hotel where you can buy cleaning products. You will need to if you stay here! On a positive note..The location is great, the staff are friendly, but it was badly let down by the cleaning staff. This hotel could be so much better.

Nice hotel, close to the metro station and the Mall of Emirates. The rooms were cleen and breakfast was also good-every day there is something different. There is a shuttle to the beach area. Good bufet dinner and lunch. The hotel is good value for money.

Room Tip: Our room 546 was quiet - no view from the room but it was nice.

I stayed in this hotel during Easter '12 while visiting my son as it was close to where he lived. I have no complaints about this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff -predominately male -are helpful and friendly. The pool is very good and there is a large sunbathuing area with a lifeguard and waiter service.
The hotel is good vaue for money but search around the web to get the best deal as there is a big variation in cost. It is right beside the metro station which means that Dubai is easily accessible.
A few negatives - the breakfast is not really geared to the UK palate. Chicken nuggets and mashed potato don't really appeal to me in the morning. However, there is a good selection of bread, cold meats, cheese, cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt accompanied by hot tea and coffee.
The pool area has very little shade and the hotel management would need to invest in sun parasols.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel as it is good value for money.
