The hotel was recommended by Marhaba when we got a visa at the airport. The checkin takes some time and the lobby was full of males sitting around (each timd we went down) which, while not a problem for me, my wife found a little intimidating when alone.
Bit of a miserable location outside however the room is actually great; spacious and a very comfy bed. There is a washer / dryer however it does not fully dry as we found out having to pack wet clothes. Also no iron and the internet is very very costly.
The lifts operate on a system where you press the button and a lift is allocated ( a through e). Fine in theory however, in practice it meant waiting a long time for ""down"" lifts watching, frustratingly, as other unallocated lifts go by (sometimes more than 3 times).
I would not stay again given the range of hotels available in Dubai, the costly price of internet and no free service even in the lobby. Note also it is a dry hotel.
