This particular hotel for location deserves 5 stars especially if you are after a quiet and rejuvenating holiday on the beach.
The service is extremely poor and I personally think they need to learn from other 5 star beach hotels in Dubai.
Me and my family stayed there in August/ 2013 for 3 weeks and this was the 2nd time but unfortunately never again.
week one we had a knock on our door asking us to leave our room by a member of staff saying that it was " check out time " I explained that I had paid for another 2 weeks and you had got it wrong he then left. After 20 minutes a security guard turned up asking us to empty our villa. I once again had to explain to him that you have a mix up and why are you doing all this in front of my children? He then called reception who said it was a mix up. Mix up for a 5 star hotel such as Kempimski I found very offensive and to be honest we was on the verge of leaving then and there.
Week 2 same thing happened again. Was this also a mix up with there guest check out list?
We had a 2 bedroom villa with a pool and had to complain end of week 1 that the pool was mucky and disgusting to which then someone came and added some chemicals to it and we was told that we was not allowed to now use it for 24 hours. The cleaning was a joke with food bits left on the floor , even on week 3 we monitored that the table in our bedroom had never been dusted down, the outside pool area during. Our whole duration can you believe not once was cleaned up a bottle and empty cigarette packet which someone had thrown over from the next door villa was proof of that adding to injury on a daily basis we would have to ask for pool towels . Go and stay at the Beit al Bahar and you will see the difference in service. Adding to injury in the final week the fire alarm went off at 6am in the morning scaring the hell out of the children to which when we called the reception we was told
" Go back to sleep sir it's a malfunction which we are trying to get under control " this was after a good 15 mins of torture.
I have nothing against the hotel but me and my family are frequent travelers to Dubai and have stayed in some spectacular hotels with great service levels. But I am sorry this hotel needs to revamp its training to a vigorous level otherwise it will lose further custom as I currently can not comprehend it being more than a 3 star hotel as I could go on and on regarding how disappointed we was as a family with this particular hotel.
