We stayed here for only one night but it was a bit of a disappointment.
When we arrived the valet was mega busy which was fine but upon entering the hotel it was more chaos and wasn’t clear we had to go to the 5th floor to check in. When we got there it was really busy and whilst queuing, a staff member came from behind his desk and took a local resident from the middle of the queue, totally bypassing the people at the front, and checked him in before others. This is unacceptable, there’s a queue for a reason!
Anyway, the room we had was a suite and nice enough, nothing special, but there was a very musty/damp smell to it.
The Lounge was exactly the same, they had a couple of dehumidifiers there and the smell was unpleasant, again damp and musty.
We mentioned this on check out and were advised they knew about the smell and were trying to fix it.
Long story short, there’s plenty other hotels in Dubai to stay in that offer much better facilities and service. So if you can, try others first.

I stayed in this hotel in the middle of August. As you know the weather in Dubai is extremely hot at that time of year so I selected this hotel because it was attached to the Mall of the Emirates and I didn’t really have to spend much time outside in the heat.

The hotel staff is very professional and friendly and provided great service. I don’t care where you are at, the hotel can be 5 star top notch in its facilities, but if the people that work there are not good at what they do then 5 stars would mean nothing.

I booked a Club Level King room with a skyline view. The view was pretty nice. I was able to enjoy some after dinner drinks in the club lounge and breakfast the next morning there. This is included with booking a club room. I got to the lounge pretty late after dinner and they were cleaning up, I asked for a glass of wine. The gentlemen who helped me mentioned that they were about to close up, but he will bring me a glass of wine. I found a table next to a window with an awesome view of the city and he brings me 2 glasses of wine, he said that since they are closing he brought me 2 in case I wanted more. He said that I could also sit there as long as I wanted, just the kitchen and bar area were closing.

The room was very nice, clean and the bed comfortable. It was a nice sized room with a desk, king bed, large bathroom and a coffee making area. I slept well. I did not use any of the hotel facilities as I only stayed there one night, but they have a few bars and restaurants. I have had some drinks at the Vantage bar in the past and it was pretty nice there. Being attached to the mall is a great advantage; I walked there directly from the hotel then had dinner, shopped around and came back, very convenient.

This hotel is very nice; I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great breakfast buffet - a nice mix of east and west options. Tried rubattan for the first time. Loved it. A quick elevator ride to the 2nd floor, a quick walk and you are in the mall of Emirates. Definitely would stay here again.

Great service, nice food. Kavurma and borek are really good. Starters are already enough, without main courses you can easily get full. Bora is great waiter, he did good job through the night for our comfort.
