“A Perfect Stopover”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2012

After 30+ hours in transit, it's wonderful when things just work. I hadn't even booked a hotel before leaving the U.S.: the ever-friendly & helpful Emirates transit desk recommended here. At a walk-in rack rate of $100 including free airport shuttle, free wireless, spotless, quiet, efficiently appointed room (incl hairdryer, proper desk, queen bed, chaise sofa, flatscreen TV, etc), it's less expensive than comparable European tourist-class hotels, and beats the socks off any American equivalent. Cheerful, friendly, and above all efficient staff. Well-stocked 24-hour Costa coffee & snack shop in the lobby, with comfortable leather chairs & in-room coffee self-service are perfect for a quick in-transit meeting. Not a whisper of noise - not from neighbors; not from aircraft; not from the corridors. No-smoking room actually meant that. Handy zip line in the bathroom to hang out hand-washables when your layover isn't long enuf to send out laundry. Nice quality shower gel/shampoo & conditioning hand soap in wall dispensers. Power adapters at reception. Shuttles to major shopping malls, the beach, & the metro. So there may be somewhere cuter, quainter, or cheaper if you have time to shop around in advance, but this is Absolutely Perfect for theexhausted, in-transit travellor. NOTE: the airport shuttle runs 24 hrs, but only departs every 30 min on the hour & half, returning every 30 min on the quarter-hour. Right on time, but do plan accordingly.

The hotel is nice, new, confortable, with good prices and very conveniently located for an international passanger making a stopover in Dubai. It's 500 meters from Terminal 3 of the Dubai Airport, and has a free shuttle service running every 30 minutes all day long. Breakfast options (not included) are good and the service personel very friendly and helpful. It was perfect to arrive at midnight, get a nice bath, a good sleep and breakfast and take a taxi to go downtown to spend the day sightseeing Dubai, going back for another shower, checking out and taking the shuttle to go back to the airport. Perfect!

My second favourite is Emirates Towers regardless o how much money you have to spend Premier Inn run by Paul at the airport is clean functional and the staff are the best....nothing is too much trouble. I travel more than most and spend about $350,000 on hotels a year but not much comes close to good clean rooms, friendly staff no bulls""T as the Premier in Dubai Airport.

Great place highly recomend it

We spent one night at the Premier Inn and it was a very pleasant experience. We arrived late at night and used the hotel shuttle bus from the airport. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was plain but very comfortable. The sound insulation seemed very good because we didn't hear other guest leaving, nor aircraft noise, and we had had a very good nights sleep. One thing to mention is that there is no shower cap, face flannel, shampoo or lotion provided so make sure you take your own. Breakfast was excellent and a very reasonable price, but if you have to depart before the restaurant opens there is a Costa coffee in the lobby and it is open 24 hours. I would recommend the Premier Inn if you are looking for a comfortable hotel near the airport.

I stayed here about 5 months ago on an overnighter between flights. I was determined this time to have longer to chill at the pool (and in the bar) and I planned to arrive mid-day. Reception were great again and after a really nice coffee and carrot cake in the foyer Costa - delivered to my table - the girl from Reception came over to tell me my room was ready. All very professional as before. However (imagination maybe) the room didn't seem as big as previously - esp the bathroom. Nonetheless still fantastic and I was very pleased to be there. But an odd thing happened. On return from an afternoon at the pool I felt sure things had been move in my room. There were no obvious signs of theft but I was concerned as the safe didn't work and I had left valuables on open display. When I contacted Reception they seemed to think this was unlikely, but I asked them to check with Housekeeping - they phoned me back to say that indeed staff had entered the room to 'wash the carpet'. I told them that I considered this rather bizarre as I just checked-in early afternoon - I felt they were a little too dismissive, just said if I didn't want anyone to enter my room I should put the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. Still .... !! To be positive again I really liked the friendly and (generally) professional staff; the roof-top pool and the bright room. The music in the restaurant was fantastic - I have never said that before about anywhere but it was a great mix!! and the staff there were just right in attentiveness - they were cheerful and happy at their work. I would particularly like to mention the 2 girls in the restaurant and the really pleasant guy driving the bus who read the travel wariness just right bringing the passengers alive again with his offer of chilled water and his infectious smile. This hotel will certainly become a regular stop on my regular business trips via Dubai - it still does the trick for me.

I stayed at the Premier Inn Dubai International Airport for 6 nights and I had a great stay. The staff were polite, friendly and did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable. The concierge brought my bags to my room, the shuttle bus offered free cold water when you got on the bus after work, everything I needed was just a quick phone call away. I had to book an extra night onto my stay and this was easily done at reception.

The room itself was spacious, tea and coffee, tv, and a comfortable bed.

The food in The Retreat was excellent, I had Chilli Con Carne which was one of the best I've ever had, thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was very good value for money, I would recommend to my friends and I would stay again.

A very happy customer, so thank you very much.
