Awesome food! Fun to have two cuisines. We enjoyed our meal here! Excellent menu. Had the pleasure of meeting the Head Chef of the restaurant. very extensive menu to choose from. The desserts were amazing! Great presentation!! I would go back in a heart beat!

“Don't even think about giving it a try!”
Reviewed January 8, 2014 via mobile

The place looked nice, a good idea to sit and order from two different cuisines; Thai and Italian. I tried both will post on the Thai separately. For this place, the steak stinked of a wired smell, the fries was fried in what seems to be a abused oil used for days, the vegetables where not fresh at all, the pasta was old and as it's a side; it was two forks only. Similar complaints from the rest of the people with me on the table. The service was terrible, it was one of these places where "no can't do" is what the waiter was trained to say. The plate comes with an optional garlic and olive oil pasta, someone with me wanted to change that with tomato sauce pasta instead (which would mean to add some tomato on what's already there and even charge us go the extra tomato) but the waiter replied by saying "what written in the menu is what we can provide you with!" Overall, terrible place!

“Buzy -great food”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

This restuarant is located on the 'board walk' in Dubai Marina and so is excelent if you like to 'people watch' whilst eating.

We ate here as a group of 6 on NY Day
The eatery was combined Asia/Italian offering us a choice of 2 Menus which was Novel but
allowed our group to select a Meal of their choice.

The waiters were attentive, the food tasty and it was certainly poplular.
I am happy to recommend it.

“Ok”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

Daughter had a good meal here so I decided to try. Typical of those at street level on the walk standard fayre. Pet range they bring out menu for Italian and one for Wok Away which is Thai/Chinese. I went for steak which was a very nicely sized fillet unfortunately overcooked and very dry. Took 3attempts to get mustard although that didn't help too much. Others meals were OK but not outstanding. You will probably get what you pay for but advice if ordering steak ask for same as you would in UK and even so allow for it being done slightly more.

“Tasty but should be a lot tastier.”
Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

We had pasta with an Arrabiata sauce that was a tad over cooked such that the freshness of the tomato base was lost. The food was well presented and service cheerful and quick, but the cooking of pasta sauces requires a more refined touch than was evident here. If you are an infrequent taster of Italian cooking then La Doce Vita's fare will suffice, but a keener palate will crave better. We also though it was expensive for what it was - we had two plates of pasta, a salad, a drink and a bottle of mineral water - that set us back AED221, hmmmmm.
