We have just come back from a short break at this hotel - it was lovely - the hotel was spotless and every member of staff was friendly and coudln't do enough to make sure that our time there was enjoyable. The choices for breakfast were good and the chef cooked poached eggs to perfection! The pool on the roof allowed us time to relax and enjoy the sun. Situated by the City Centre Mall it is a short taxi or Metro ride away from what seems to be the central focus of Dubai - the fountains and the Dubai Mall. Well worth considering if you are looking for a short break in Dubai.

We arrived at the hotel at about 8am after a a long journey to Heathrow and a night flight to Dubai. We were informed, as is normal, that checkin was noon so we sat ready to wait looking and feeling very worn out. Elle in Reception noted this and in a few minutes she organised an upgraded room and we got settled in.
David the Concierge was most helpful with advice as it was our first visit to Dubai.
We ate in the hotel that evening and had a very good meal at a reasonable price even by English prices. All the staff were pleasant and polite and we would happily stay again.

Arriving at 0930, we had to wait for the room to be ready at 11.00, which to be fair is identified at the time of booking. The hotel and the staff were really nice, and none of the negative reports read here were witnessed. Rooms were spacious, clean, practical with safe, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, slippers and one dressing gown. Bathrooms were stunning with shampoos, cream and soap.
Practically the hotel is within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the Diera city centre metro linking most of the city although as good as it is you will probably need to take a taxi to get exactly where you want to go from your closest metro station.
The metro is cheap and if your there for around a week simple to get a weekly pass. Be aware if your travelling to The Palm the closest metro station is probabably internet city whereupon arrival you will need to get a taxi to Palm Jumerai Gateway station.
A word on Taxi drivers - They mostly speak english, they dont fiddle you (the cream coloured taxis) but they dont really know where they are going. Its best once your there to identify a landmark and ask for that as your destination - guiding them in once your familiar.

We can't add much more to previous excellent reviews. The hotel is very clean, quiet, well-appointed with a wonderful staff. Our room was ready when we arrived about 10:30 am - not large, but had everything we needed. We did not eat at the hotel. It is close to the Deira City Center Mall which is amazing - always very busy with more stores and restaurants than you need! Close to the Deira Metro which is easy to navigate - very new, clean, quiet, although not all stations are complete. We took the metro from the Mall of the Emirates back to the hotel - 6.50 DH and 25 minutes. Taxis are cheap and easily avaliable at the hotel.

Our flight home to the US left at 2 am. Even though we had checked out that morning, we returned to the hotel for our luggage after touring all day and they graciously let us shower in the fitness center that evening. The staff throughout our stay was very pleasant, helpful and gracious. Would stay here again.

i have just returned from a one week amazing stay at dusit princess. the hotel is very close to the airport, to mall deira city center (one of the largest malls of dubai) and to the subway station deira city center. the room was nice, not very large, always well cleaned and with closets that will fit luggage for 2 without any problems, the very little minus is the small bathtub. water, tea and cofee were available for free in the room. breakfast was good, cold buffet was average but the "egg station" had thai specials and you could custom order your eggs any way you liked. make time one morning/evening to enjoy the pool and the jacuzzi on the last floor. the staff is amazing, very nice, helpful, always smilig, they are definetly the best thing about dusit. wi-fi is available on request for one week, ask at the reception for user/password. the hotel is not that close to dubai's main attractions but you can combine a subway ride with a taxi ride (they're cheap) and you will get anywhere fast. it's a dry hotel (and a dry city )so if you want alchool, buy it from the duty free when you arrive.

The room & bathroom were clean and well laid out. A shower screen would be helpful though, given that the tiled floor was turned into a mini pool after showering. There was some issue with the curtain cords, but I was able to close them.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and almost won over my city tour!
Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to try out the pool – but it looked inviting. I didn’t get to explore the surrounds either but a comprehensive shopping mall is just across the road.

Stayed at this hotel and it hadn't long been opened. I arrived at 1am greeted warmly by staff and presented with a mocktail. Easy check -in, lovely room and luxurious bed. Bed was like sleeping in a cloud - firm but no pressure. Housekeeping very good and helpful (I accidently spilt my hot chocolate on the beige carpet - no problem). Hotel was one block (easy walking) to the Diera Shopping Centre (4th largest in Dubai) where you could buy anything. Especially helpful was the Shopping Centre is also the change stop for the "Hop On Hop Off" bus company. Conceirge was fantastic in doing some tour bookings for me as well as giving me much local information etc. Plenty of options for meals and food was well presented and very enjoyable. Totally a great experience....
