Only good for souveniors and nothing else.prices at most shops expensive and not a good range of goods . Try karama market instead , wide variety of fake goods that are cheaper .

Meena Bazaar is the place to go, if experiencing the traditional Indian market place is high on your list. Not a great experience for men though, small streets, mostly shops selling jewelry, cloth and dresses for women. Dubai is a safe place, so don't worry too much about going into small lanes. The people are welcoming and tourist friendly, but be prepared to BARGAIN. For people who like to browse, you can easily spend half day here between windown shopping, haggling and eating those delicious Indian snacks!!!

From Indian textiles to sarees, imported bags to cosmetics, you name it and you have it. Most of the shops are owned by Indian and Pakistanis and for an instant you feel as if you are in a major city of subcontinent.

Its the best place in UAE to shop Indian/Pakistani traditional dresses - saree,salvar-kurta. The price is reasonable and the variety is immense. Its difficult to get parking and the Bur Dubai area is very congested.
