Some people maybe say it is just 3stars, but in my opinion Citymax Bur Dubai is the best choice- near to the airport, close to the old Dubai with Abra docks and souks, also the metro station called ADCB is 10min walk just straight ahead and there is also free shuttle bus to Al Mamzar Beach park. Rooms are smaller but with all the equipment you need and also clean. The pool on the roof is probably the only place to stay cool(do not count airconditioned places). :) The Sizzly Wok restaurant offers very tasty meals with big portions and great virgin litchi mojito for 25dirhams. The staff is very friendly.

My sisters and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and I have to say it's really good place to stay in Dubai. Location is awesome close to airport and metro. There is strong Wi-Fi as well as some stuff to make tea or coffee. The staff of the Hotel were very friendly and helpful.
In general, it wasn't a bad experience ; however, our room was not clean enough, sheet and cover were smelly as well as towels were dirty.
Also, I recommend for those who wants to stay at this hotel is try to book directly with the hotel. I booked our room through Booking and I used my credit. The payment has been hold at the same day before I arrived. However, when I arrived to the hotel, they made me payed for the two night again for 365 $ and cancelled my previous payment with the Booking for 288$ !!. When I asked why?? they said, it is the policy of the hotel and 288 $ that I already paid wasn't includes taxes!!. We were tired and need to rests, so we accepted that reluctantly.
