Pros:
- Located in Al Riqqa Street which can be a good point for those interested in old Dubai districts
- Lots of nearby fast food restaurants such as MC Donald, Pizza Hut, Pizza Company, etc. & also a Nando's in a few minutes walk from the hotel
- Close to Al Ghurair & Reefmall shopping malls
- Cozy & well furnished rooms

Cons:
- Not serving an international breakfast and lunch buffet, few choices, absolutely hot and spicy food only suitable for Indian or Pakistanian people. Grabbing the food on your table if you just stop for a really short breath while eating. Closing the buffet not giving a prior notice (Having stayed at Landmark Grand Hotel last year and feeling so welcomed there, we were really disappointed by this other branch of Landmark)
- Hot water and again the problem of getting cold while taking shower even though we push the specific key on the wall designed to make the water warm. Common Landmark Hotels' manager, we encountered the same problem in Landmark Grand too. You really need to do something about your hot water system.
- The toilet flush did not work properly in our room and was really old fashioned in its working system. Whenever we needed to use the toilet, we had to go to my sister room, a few doors away on the same floor and this made our stay even more inconvenient.
- The check in is at 2 o'clock but after waiting for 2 hours in the lobby, we finally could check in at 3.15 which is already 1 hour and 15 minutes late. In the day of check out, they kept calling our room repeatedly from 11 o'clock (not mentioning that the check out was at 12 and we still got one hour left) and asked us to check out sooner because as the receptionist said "some guests were waiting for our room!!!" How rude and impolite! They let us in 1 hour and 15 minutes late and asked us to leave 1 hour early!!! And as we later found out, there were no guests waiting for a room at that time.

Totally I do suggest you to pay a few more and stay at Landmark Grand Hotel at the other side of the street, you're not gonna regret it, I promise!

Room tip: Make sure the toilet flush works properly before unpacking and also ask for higher levels!

I had heard good things about this Hotel and decided to book it for my Family Vacation to Dubai. I must appreciate the excellent customer service extended to me especially Mr Hameed Irfan, The Resident Manager, who was always there on our call and helped us in making our visit a memorable one. The Hotel is near the airport which helped us reach it in arnd 12 mins. We must appreciate the excellent Breakfast Buffet and in vicinity of good restaurants We never missed out on good meals.
Mr Irfan also helped us in getting good deals for sightseeing and city Tour. e enjoyed our stay a lot and am surely coming back again to Landmark Riqqa for sure...

I stayed at the Landmark Hotel Riqqa in Sept 2012. I booked online via hotel's website and confirmed my reservation with an e mail to the hotel just days prior to my arrival. I payed $80-$85 USD per night which I thought was a good value. The reviews on TripAdvisor said the hotel is decent and in a good location with a swimming pool which I was looking for.

Upon arriving at Dubai airport you can take a cab or rail system to the hotel getting off at Union station then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Walking to the hotel I noticed the hotel had many restaurants nearby and is in a residential area. During check in I asked the front desk about the swimming pool, they informed me it was under renovation however I could use their sister hotel's pool Landmark Grand 10 minutes walk away. I asked them why it did not specify this on their website or in the e mail exchanges I had with them, no answer. Upon walking in the room they are very nice, large, clean, and modern. The hotel does not offer free Wi-Fi or have computers for you to use, you must pay to use the Wi-Fi which I think is really tacky. The hotel offers free breakfast each morning which I thought had a good selection. The hotel is not really near any of the sites to see in Dubai, as said earlier it is in a residential area. You will need to take the rail system, taxi, or hire a driver to see the sites of Dubai.

In conclusion I thought the room was a good value for the price I paid with free breakfast. I did not appreciate not being informed about the swimming pool as that was one of the factors of booking this hotel. I also thought making guest pay for Wi-Fi was a big turn off. If I go back to Dubai I would choose another hotel to stay at, one closer to the sites of Dubai and the beach.

My sister and I stayed there for the last week of 2012.

Rooms are fine, the biggest problem was the shower, or to be more precise the temperature control. When you set water to the comfortable temperature, it could change absolutely out of nowhere! So we had to be prepared to jump out in event of super hot or cold water at any minute!

Also hair dryer was not sufficient enough to dry and style your hair.

Location - was ok. Dubai is a driving city, so you would need to take taxi anyway. Its close to the metro, but I am sure you can find more interesting location.

Stayed here as they have family room. Although it was mentioned that the room could fit 2 adults and 2 children, we were only provided 1 extra bed. I was told another additional bed will incur extra charges. Went to clarify with the front desk and they mentioned this is in the standard policy. Was a little bit upset as all this is in fine print. Luckily the king size bed is large enough for 3 person (including a small child).

Hotel does provide swimming pool and health club but i did not bother to explore as there was so much to do in dubai.

Breakfast that provided are quite basic to prepare you for the day.

Metro station is walkable but not near enough for frequent use. We ended up using taxi as it is more convenient. Taxis are plentiful and very professional. We even flag a taxi 4am in the morning in front of the hotel. Btw during one of our trip, our taxi driver mixed up our hotel with another Landmark Grand Hotel which is nearby, so always bring the hotel card as there is a useful map.
