We booked High tea at Jinsui Restaurant mainly to see the iconic hotel. The hotel it self was breathtaking and we were pleasantly surprised that the high tea was equally fabulous and quite filling. It was a 7 course menu and took about 3 hours to finish - of course we had no complaints about this. The staff were very friendly, professional and customer focused. We took a lot of pictures both inside the hotel and the restaurant and loved every minute of our stay.

The burj looks fabninside and outside. We to Junsui for the well known friday brunch for 375 dirhams each (food only). I have to admit other 5 star restaurant's food is better than this 7 star hotel.
Food was good but nothing extraordinary, desserts were just a small section and nothing special at all.
We werent even given the hot towels only some tables were which was annoying.for a place like this you would think service is extraordinary.
For the price you pay you would think it would be better but its an experience so i guess its worth it as theres only one 7 star hotel in the world.
Skyview bar looks nice good views of the palm so i would recommend that then Junsui but i believe food is modern european.

This was a truly excellent experience. Having lived 3 years in Hong Kong, I really enjoyed every single thing I ate here. Service was perfect, professional, yet very down to earth and kind. Best thing about our trip to the U.A.E.
If we come back to U.A.E. we will differently visit again.
I was celebrating my 38th birthday, when we visited and Ryan and the rest of the team made it a very special day for all of us. Thank you!

On our recent trip to the Burj al Arab we made a reservation for 2 to have High tea in the Sky Lounge. We were 10 minutes late for our reservation as there was a long queue at security (you cannot get to the hotel without a reservation). I was getting pretty worried that we were going to lose the reservation but everyone was thoroughly helpful and being a little late was not a problem.
The food was exquisite, the service excellent and the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and upon entering they have a live orchestra playing at the top of the fountain. The hotel is a pillar of grand opulence and if you have the time, take a wander around and take some photos.
The Sky Lounge is bizarrely decorated, it is sort of dated and looks a little tacky, but everything is new so I get the feeling it was especially designed this way. However, you don’t really pay much attention to this as the views are spectacular and the high tea is a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. After tea my partner popped the question, and the staff were more than accommodating with drinks and flowers. Thoroughly wonderful experience!
