Lovely location - sit outside in the evening by the Creek. The night we were there there was a fireworks display which was amazing. Food was excellent, very spicy but you can ask for more or less spice and they will accommodate.

Geunine Thai food. Be prepared, taste small bits first. Great Thai staff (mainly) and very helpful at explaining menu.

Spent a very enjoyable evening sampling the delights of the Thai Kitchen with a wide selection of dishes sitting overlooking the Marina and Creek.

We were given some great recommendations from the staff which we throughly enjoyed and we left feeling very satisfied.

During our meal the fireworks display took place in the creek which was just the icing on the cake.

The food wine and service were first class and a must if you are visiting.

Good evening to all of you. Tonight we share our experience at the Park Hyatt Dubai, a place which we just cannot get enough. We visited the Thai Kitchen again – this time for dinner.

The concept of the restaurant is very unique. Four show kitchens surround the seating area inside, where chefs prepare woks, stir fries, salads, soups, grills and desserts of various Thai (Asian blends really) dishes.

As we had been there for brunch before, the concept was not new to us, nevertheless, the waitress Ms. A, took us through the same while welcoming us at the restaurant. It was an evening during the week, and Thai Kitchen was empty. Apart from us, only two other tables were occupied. We placed our drinks order first and then went over the menu. The concept itself makes it easy to decide what to choose from the menu, as everything is served in small portions, and a la minute – typical sharing style, which is very common for this type of cuisine.

While we were placing the orders and making up our minds if two dishes each would be enough to start with, Ms. A was smiling in a friendly manner and seemed to be very attentive.

After that, the attentiveness seemed to fade, as she was more occupied with the chefs and colleagues, than paying attention to us. We tried grasping her attention and failed more than once. When we stopped one of her colleagues, he told us that he would get our waitress and left. We know that in restaurants each section has a dedicated waiter to look over the same, but would have expected a bit more willingness to serve guests and create a nice, welcoming experience for them. The evening started so nice and our expectations were set high.

After a while, another lady, who must have observed the happening, approached us to take our order. We had one more guest who joined us a bit later and it was his first time to visit the Park Hyatt. Luckily one staff noticed his arrival and served him right away. Within minutes after we placed our food orders the first starters started flying in on our table. As said, all the food is served a la minute, what ever is ready, will be placed.

Ms. A was the one who served the food and explained each dish carefully. Her attitude was very kind every time she was at our table, once she left however she seemed to be miles away in her thoughts and it took her quite a while to get back to reality. Maybe the poor lady had a bad day – everyone has sometimes. Once the hot starters were served, Ms. A’s colleague offered steaming hot rice out of a braided basket to compliment the food. What a nice touch and a charming idea to serve the same in such an elegant, neat and tidy way. The food was fantastic, but we knew that from before.

Salads, soups, starters and mains, we had it all. In total we ordered around 9 different dishes for the four of us and felt well fed and satisfied.

As we were tired from a long working week, we did not stay very long, and asked for coffee right after we finished our food. The coffee was served within five minutes, which out of experience meets the worldwide Hyatt standards and made us leave Thai Kitchen with a bitter taste of espresso but a sweet taste of service in our mouths and minds.

Overall an experience at Thai Kitchen offers value for money, even though I personally believe that with the brunch, Thai Kitchen has the chance to shine even brighter with the concept of sharing style – a la minute dishes and their service. During brunch time they also play music, which they don’t in the evening.

Will we return to Thai Kitchen? Of course, it’s a must, but as said, probably next time we will go there for brunch.

And our friend who was there for the first time – you want to know how his first time at the Park Hyatt was – he said he will join for brunch. I think that says it all.

We will be back with more reviews and experiences, if you keep reading the same…

Staying in the hotel , one is tempted to try the onsite restaurants, and this one didn't disappoint!..Spicy, fresh, piquant cuisine....not shy on the heat level of the chilies, either..
Lovely surroundings, pleasant waitstaff, and a great, relaxed evening, with good quality ingredients.
