+ Friendly staff
+ Pool area is nice
+ Beds are comfortable
+ Location is good, only few minutes walk to metro and Mall of the Emirates

- Rooms are NOT soundproofed although Booking.com says so... I heard every door closing and people talking in the corridor to our room... this was a huge disappointment!!!
- Kitchen equipments were kind of poor
- Balcony was locked for some reason
- Room was dark and old-fashioned

After all, I wouldn't go again :(

This hotel has the best cost-to-review ratio on tripadvisor, and for the most part this accolade is well earned. Our room was huge, spotless, and had it's own kitchen facilities, while the pool and gym was also great. The staff were attentive and happy to leave you to your own devices. The surrounding area is pretty unattractive, BUT it's next to the metro, has lots of restaurants around, and is only 10-15 mins by taxi to both the Marina/Jumeirah and downtown. My only real gripe with this hotel is the wifi service: you get 1hr free wifi for one device per day...and it counts down so you can't log in and out. The pay-for-use options beyond this are expensive. Why don't they just offer "free wifi" and hike the room rate up by a few Dirhams?. I told the staff I thought this would be a better marketing strategy, but they just laughed as if I was joking. I wasn't.

I have stayed in this hotel on over 20 occasions. Each visit was effortless.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable...much better than most of the hotels I have stayed in Dubai. This is not a well know hotel but I assure you it is great. It has more of a apartment feel and certain rooms have kitchens.
The hotel is literally a 10 minute walk to the emirates mall which has the infamous indoor ski hill.
If you want some night life you will have to take a taxi. Rates are cheap.
The room service is good and all the staff are friendly and courteous. The Filipino staff are exceptionally polite and kind as most Filipinos are.
There are several restaurants in the vicinity but I would avoid the restaurant adjacent to the hotel.
During the time if year when Dubai is between 25 and 35, the rooftop pool is fantastic. This hotel also offers a full size high quality gym.
I can assure you all that you will not be dissappointed with this hotel as I give it a 4.6 out of 5 which happens to be the best rating I have for a hotel. There are more luxurious hotel which will cost you 500$ a night but the value of this hotel in not comparable.

Nice play to stay. My only reservation was that in its ad it said it would be a 5 minute walk to Emirates mall. when we got there it was very obvious that there would be no way we would be able to walk to the mall with the kids in the heat in 5 minutes. as the entrance to ski Dubai alone was very obviously at least 30min away. we asked at the desk as soon as we arrived and the receptionist told us that the nearest metro is 5 min away & we could use the metro to reach the mall or taking a taxi would be a much easier option. we opted to take a taxi to the mall. luckily taxis were readily available at all times. the breakfast buffet unfortunately had very few options, but it was alright for the kids. the staff overall were very obliging day or night. the apartment itself on the club floor was very spacious with plenty of room to run around. however the rooms unfortunately were not very quiet especially in the afternoons. we could hear loud noises from other guests rooms either on the floor above us or the rooms next to ours.
Definitely a comfortable hotel to be in if u are planning to spend more time out of the hotel during the day. also the fact that WI-FI was not free was quite annoying.

If budget is limited and you want to visit dubai, this is a great place to stay.
Very clean hotel and staff were always excelent.
In general, we enjoyed our stay. Near the metro, with kitchen, supermarket right next door, close to the mall.
The only negative point has to do with the pool (but not the hotel's fault). I felt very uncomfortable to wear bikini in the pool...There are many women dressed in the pool. I did not expect it in the hotel pool...

My cousin and I stayed there for 5 days in September 2012. When we got to our room, the water was not running. After reporting it to reception, the manager upgraded us to a bigger apartment and added a discount on the breakfast.
The rooms were clean and very spacious. The cleaners were very polite.
They were also very happy to keep our luggage after we had checked out because we had a lot of time left before our flight. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful.
My only issue was with breakfast; my cousin does not eat egg yolks so she asked for only egg whites but when her omelette arrived, it had the egg yolk!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would not mind staying there again at all!!

Last year in 2012 three of us stayed in a two bedroom apartment over the month of February and we loved every second. Our last review of this hotel therefore was very complimentary and we decided we would like to stay here again over April 2013. We informed our family of how good this place was and so they decided to stay with us also. What a mistake! Within just a year we would rank this hotel as terrible now.

We booked into a 3 bedroom apartment and although spacious and yes the beds are comfortable, the decor was so dark and the cigarette smell was disastrous! We opened the windows and balconies every day and still the smell was really awful, we just couldn't stomach it.

Our family's flight arrived into Dubai at 8am in the morning so we decided to check-in to the hotel the night before and get housekeeping into the room before our family had arrived at the hotel. So, after leaving for the airport at 730am we asked 2 members of the front of house staff to send housekeeping to our room because we would be back with our family around 10am and we would like the room cleaned. We arrived back at 1030am and still housekeeping had not been to our room! It took 2 angry phone calls to get them sent. We also noticed after that day that housekeeping came at around 4pm on a daily basis!

The staff have become rude and overworked, Lyndon may have left because we didn't see him during our whole stay. The only nice remaining staff member is Ronald on concierge.
He is the only staff member that has remained smiley, friendly and extremely helpful, he even remembered us from last year! However, you can see how tired and overworked he is.

More downsides to this hotel: the internet is not included, the tv channels are very bad and there was no dvd player in the apartments. It was also very noisy and again some nights we would have to call down to reception to mention that we were being kept awake by parties and voices etc.

Such a shame because you have lost us as customers and despite a great location we will not be staying at this hotel again.
