“Great stay for a business trip”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

Initially, I stayed here for 3 nights on business, but I liked it so much that I stayed on for the weekend.
Great views of Dubai, especially at night.
Nothing is too much for the staff. It is nice every now and then to get service without having to ask for it.
I loved the choice of restaurants and the fact that it was a hotel / resort combination.

I'll use it again the next time I am in Dubai.

We stayed here for 6 nights and I can't complain about anything.
Check in: We arrived late evening and it took 10 minutes and we were on our way to the room.
Room: Room 4045. Wonderful views over the Dubai skyline, harbour and beach. We sat on the balcony watching the sun go down every evening around 5.30. The bed was huge. Lots of space in the closets. Large shower and bathtub. Great minibar, a small bottle of wine 55 AED and Moet champagne, half bottle, 360 AED!If you think it is expensiv buy a bottle or two before you leave the airport. We got plenty of water and we asked for coffemaking equipment and it was brought to us immediatly. They came with fresh flowers twice and some other nice treats during our stay.
Beach: Soft, white and very clean. The sand never got hot. The guys came with free water frequently. I don't know if they had any snorkling equipment but it would have been nice having that because it was a lot of fish in the water.
Food: Tried Tagine, Olives, Rotissier, Eau Zone, Beach Bar & Grill and Nina. They all had a very good service. See reviews on each restaurant. Prices for lunch; sallad 65 AED, glass of wine 40 AED, Beefburger 70 AED, glass/bottle of beer 40 AED.
We will definitely come back. It is only 3 minutes by taxi to Emirates Golfclub!

Room Tip: 4045 with very nice views.

Absolutely perfect !

We stay 4 days at the Arabian court and for sure it's a Real Palace !
The location of the hotel is perfect. Not far from the Palm, the Emirates Golf and the beach of course !
Accomodations, quality of the restaurants (Eau Zone and Beach&Bar Grill) wonderfull pools and quality of the staff is clearly 5 stars !!
Amazing sunset every night with a beautiful view at the Jetty lounge on the beach !
Don't miss it !

I hope to come again very soon.

We enjoy being there with my 2 daughters (12&14y) : they do everything to make sure you enjoy your stay. I loved being at the beach - for once you are really far from your neighbor - that's great !
My preferred restaurant Eauzone next to the beach & on the water for the Moonlight diner

This review is on behalf of my stay (with my young daughter) along with my mum s, we were on the same booking but shared two different rooms in the Arabian court.

My list of complaints are as follows :

No consistency of cleaning the room and stocking up on towels, sometimes bath towels were le sometimes it was just small towels, empty or half used shower gel or shampoo not cleaned away. Empty glasses from the night before left behind, bits of rubbish sweet papers left on the side, bottles of water not replenished , marks on the mirrors not wiped off.

We found the Arabian court pool too noisey, not a problem just our choice, so we went to the palace pool , you can only eat by the pool in a small restaurant were you have to wait for a table for up to an hour, no eating on the sun loungers. Or you can get fully dressed and go to a more formal restaurant, not what I really want to do on holiday with my 4 year old.
Pool service for drinks was such a long wait they need more staff

My daughter is 4, no kids club timings or what's on offer was given to us, it was only by talking to other guests that I found out there was a kids dinner at 1830 every night that she could of attended. We wouldn't of used it a lot of nights but it would of been nice to be informed.

Booked a table at 'celebrities' as every one was rating the food, turned up to be turned away as they don't take children in this restaurant, no whe on the hotel info did it state this and on booking the table no one asked if any children was on the booking.

We asked guests services to book a table at another hotels restaurant, we re I even. Txt that this was confirmed for the time we asked, 40 min before we were due to leave a note was slipped under the door to remind us that our tab,e was booked for 3 days later and for a totally different time, we quickly ran down to guest services with dripping hair to be told oh yes there was a mistake , another staff member had rebooked it for the new date and time, we were leavi the next day so why would we want a table for when we wouldn't even be in Dubai, after 30 min of arguing with them that they had made a mistake and ruined our last night they managed to get us a table at our original restaurant but for in 20 min time , so no time to enjoy the last night and they offered a car top take us there as an apology for there mistake , the restaurant is only 3 hotels away around 10dirham in a taxi, not very complimentary !!!!!

On an evening the hotel offers a turn down service, every night the man offering this would come at around 6pm this is far too early to offer this service hardly anyone surely would of been ready for this , most people are still getting ready, every night I asked the man to come back around 7:30-8pm when we would not be there and after we were finished in the room, also no little chocolates left on the pillow, ok no big problem but a nice little touch that we get in other hotels.

Far too many little things missing in this hotel to give it the fabulous rating that it seems to have, my final complaint would be that the hotel is set on vast grounds, more golf buggys should be on offer to ferry guests around I have stayed in smaller hotels in Dubai that offer this service, yes it my choice to go to one end of the hotel to another but a nice buggy ride would of been appreciated especially with a 4 year old in tow.

We spoke to other guests who were staying in the palace part, and from what we spoke about and seeing the rooms the only difference is the complimentary shampoos are a different make, hardly worth the price difference !!!

We usually stay in the royal meridian and spa, buster we thought we would try another hotel , what a mistake, we will be returning to the meridian. Much better service.

The One&Only Royal Mirage is composed of three properties - the Palace Hotel, The Residence & Spa, and the Arabian Court. We decided to stay at the Arabian Court. The first impression of the Arabian Court as you enter (especially in the evening) is quite impressive. I had seen comments made regarding the rather long check-in process and we experienced the same situation - at 1:00 AM. What should have been a 5 minute process took almost 30 minutes.

The room was of average size for a 5* hotel; the bathroom was extra large with a separate tub and rainfall shower stall.

It is interesting to note that the quality of construction/renovation was not of the caliber one would expect in a luxury hotel...there was paint/caulking on the bathroom tile and on the tiled portion of the bedroom floor. The "doorplate" surrounding the door handle to the bathroom was beginning to fall off.

The housekeeping on one day during our 3-day stay did not occur until mid-afternoon - somewhat inconvenient after returning from the pool/beach and you would like to freshen up in your room.

In-room internet service was not complimentary - this was unusual in that the other hotels we stayed in during our trip to the UAE and Oman provided complimentary in-room Wi-Fi. In the interest of full disclosure, this influenced my rating of this hotel as it speaks to the overall value proposition that a hotel provides its guests. (Note: hotel does provide complimentary internet service in their business center.)

The breakfast buffet in The Rotisserie Restaurant was very well done (we also had the breakfast buffet at Olives Restaurant at the Palace Hotel - guests of the Arabian Court and the Palace Hotel have breakfast dining privileges at both hotels). We also had the buffet dinner one night at the Rotisserie Restaurant, and it was excellent in terms of choice, quality and value.

The property has a very nice beach and pool area that were well maintained. The expansive gardens and grounds of the One&Only Royal Mirage complex are exceptionally beautiful and they too were very nicely maintained.

The staff displayed a very genuine sense of hospitality and service, and those problems we did encounter were handled in a most gracious way.

The Arabian Court is a very nice hotel with a wonderful ambiance, but it did fall short of a truly luxury experience.

Stayed here for three nights as a stopover on our way to Australia and so glad that we did. As a family of 2 adults and 2 older children we booked two rooms that was connected through the hallway, which was great as it gave us all a bit of space. We were on the ground floor with the balcony almost opposite the pool area. The rooms are of excellent quality and have everything that you could need. Free bottles of water and fruit. We found the staff to be extremely polite and helpful. They arranged our trips for us (Atlantis-swimming with dolphins which was amazing we also visited Burj Khalfia and did a 1/2 day city tour which I would recommend) It was our daughters 12 birthday while we were there and they surprised her with a cake and flowers. Breakfast was good and most of it cooked to order, great waffles! We had dinner at Olives once which still is buffet style with great pizzas. I would love to stay longer next time.

Room Tip: Ground floor, easy access to pool area.
