“We liked it but some problems”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

The hotel says that all rooms are seafaring so we could not suspect that our room should have a view direct in the” jungle”, se photos, room 4025. Most of the rooms on the fourth floor in the north wing of Arabian Court were looking into palm crowns so there is nothing to see.
Take down some palms so we can see something of the pool and beach.

The other complaints is the beds, we are used to hard beds when we visit Spain or Greece but this were worse even when we had an extra thin mattress.

Why do you charge for the use of Internet, in most hotels (at least 5 *) and on airports it is free of charge.

This was the negative about Arabian Court but we really liked the hotel, garden and beach and the two pools and all the staff in hotel, around the pools and on the beach.

We are very pleased with all restaurants, we were on half board which meant that we had a credit of 160 AED per person in a la carte restaurants, the buffet restaurants were included. The best buffet restaurant was Olives, they had EVERYTHING.

We are regular visitors to Dubai, usually staying at The Address or Atlantis, but this time we decided to try somewhere different & we are so pleased that we did! The One & Only is like a little oasis in the middle of a busy bustling city!

We arrived late at night & were greeted by the very friendly staff & their gong! We had some lovely welcome drinks while they went through the very speedy check in process before we were taken to our beautiful room. It was large & very comfortable with great garden views. I did miss not having tea or coffee making facilities in the room as it was a bit of a pain having to order from room service every time I fancied a cuppa, but that is only a very minor thing!

The bed was extremely comfortable & the bathroom has a large walk in shower with a seat if you have had a long day sight seeing!

The breakfasts were delicious & lots of choices of pastries, cold meats/cheeses, fruits as well as a cooked breakfast/egg stand.

We had drinks at the Jetty Bar which we would highly recommend but we used the little shuttle to get there as it would be easy to get lost on the way! We also ate at the Beach Bar & Grill. It was fantastic. The setting was awesome, the steaks were delicious, we would definitely go there again!

On our final night we ate at Eau Zone, which was set in the centre of the pool. It was so beautiful. The setting was perfect & the food was amazing. It does get busy so best to book ahead.

We used room service too. There is a great choice selection & it was very tasty!

The guys at the beach were very friendly, bringing round water, fruits & cleaning glasses etc. It was a perfect place to relax & enjoy the sunshine.

We decided to try out the spa & booked in for full body massages. They were heavenly! The surroundings were so beautiful & the rest room was so calming, we could have laid there all afternoon! We both really enjoyed it & we would definitely go back & have more treatments.

The hotel is in a great location & is so easy to get to. We had a fantastic time & we will definitely be back.

We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights during February 2013. The rooms are very comfortable, although we considered that the higher floors were better because they were lighter and had a better view. There is easy access to the private beach which is about 1 KM long and is fringed by palm trees that screen the hotel because it is only 4 storey high. Large umbrellas and sun loungers are numerous and very well spaced, but there is some traffic noise because a busy road is quite close. A one way courtesy coach is available to the Emirates Mall - the Monorail to the Atlantis hotel at the end of the Palm is within walking distance - a 10 dirham taxi to the Marina where one can take the Metro to city centre or the gold souk. Metro and taxis are very inexpensive. There is a buffet for breakfast with a good selection and eggs and omlettes are cooked to order. The dine around arrangement for half board provides access to several good restaurants.
Would we stay here again - YES

Room Tip: High rooms have better outlook - ground floor suit families with young children because there is dir...

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Arabian Court. Have visited Dubai many times, usually staying at The Madinat Jumeirah, Dar Al Masayaf, or Al Qasr, but this time we decided to have a change, and the only thing we are disappointed about, is that we didn't change to this wonderful hotel years ago!!! I really would struggle to fault anything with this hotel. The staff were the most wonderful, friendly staff of anywhere I have travelled. Nothing was too much trouble for them, I must make particular mention of the pool guys, especially Kumara, whose smiling face greeted us every morning. The hotel is a lot smaller than the previous one's we have stayed at, and this made it much more personal and friendly, with staff memorising your name after just a day or so. Our children, 13 and 10 had a great time, as there was lots going on for them, from water polo, tennis tournaments, football, camel rides, donut rides etc. There is also a great Water Sports Centre, and Rhett, was the best teacher ever, actually going in the water with the children to get them skiing, or boarding. The restaurants were also excellent and we were literally spoilt for choice, we particularly liked The Beach Grill. We did venture over to One & Only The Palm, to their flagship restaurant 101, the hotel organise a speed boat taxi and we were all hyped up for a fab night, but though the setting and the ambience were amazing, the menu and the food were very disappointing, not half as good as the restaurants at the RM. All in all we had a wonderful holiday, and whilst the view from the beach isn't as good as at the Madinat Jumeirah, overall, we much preferred this hotel and will definitely be back.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor, which was great as the rooms opened up towards the swimming pool.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was great. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and amazing facilitise. Everybody wants to help and make you comfotable.
The only thing is that I think wifi should be free of charge.
Definitly I will consider staying there again.

Just left the snow behind and had a wonderful week in the sunshine at the Royal Mirage. We were welcomed back like friends and there was a welcome back card from the manager which was a lovely touch. Once again the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the boys looking after the pool ensured I had everything I needed while my husband was playing golf. I just can't wait to go back again.

Room Tip: 4th floor for the views
