Wonderful, wide walkways, well airconditioned, window dressings are eye catching and pleasing. You can find brand names for clothing, shoes etc, and well stocked stores, you can find plug converters for nearly all countries. Convenience and elite shopping rolled into one. Great place to take men along ladies...

“This is the Mall to end all Malls, until......”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Truly an amazing place, it has everything your heart desires. Cinemas, Ice Hockey, Aquarium, Fountains & a waterfall. The best advice I can give is about getting there. We caught the Metro train to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station, on the Red Line. There are ticket sellers, if you're worried about vending machines. Upon arrival at the station to the Mall it is all air conditioned comfort, around a klm, but there also travelators.

“Huge Mall but a little bit overpriced”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

I have been in Dubai Mall about 4 times since it's the closest mall to our hotel. The mall is massive that you can get lost in there!

There are lots of restaurants to choose from. So many shops that I haven't heard of! You can get bargain from the sale items but I find with full priced items they are not cheap. Some are surprisingly more expensive than Sydney prices. For example, my Mac foundation, in Sydney it's about 50ish and in Dubai it's 62!!!

Also, for some reason sweet/dessert shops are really expensive in Dubai. I went to look for cupcakes or a cake to bring to a dinner party. The average price of cupcake is between 12 and 24 dhs (4-8) ridiculously overpriced! I bought a large tiramisu cake from Brunetti - beautiful delicious cake but cost about 80 bucks!

There are many ways to be entertained at this mall other than to shop. For instance the magnificent Dubai Aquarium (will post a separate review on this). The beautiful souk, the mall facade and the restaurants.

Tips :

Food court is located at the second floor right in front of the aquarium exit. Plenty of food choose from and very clean! There is a gourmet food court at the galleries lafayette, also in 2nd floor

Money changers/forex in the Dubai Mall are mostly located at the lower ground floor UAE exchange is a good choice but the one in ground floor in the Souk has the best rate, it's called the WallStreet.

Taxi pick up is at lower ground floor and there's plenty there.

“Very Nice”

The shops are nice, the coridors are full of decorations, flowers, natural light, music. Loved this shopping center. Nice variety of stores and special places to eat.
