just completed a 4 day stay at the ibis mall of emirates, dubai. the hotel is a two minute walk from the mall, and through it you can acess the metro, which makes it very convenient. the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is very good value at 45 dirhams, and the lobby is comfortable.very friendly and helpful staff.

I stayed in this hotel 27-29 March. The staff was friendly, when I checked in, they provided a lot of information about Dubai. The room I lived was on 1/F, no good view. The room size is ok, but the washroom was small. The TV Channel selection had a lot of choice, but no Chinese. Luckily, with Korean.
My room did not include breakfast, and I added one day with a discount price provided from the front desk. The food was not bad, and I like the cheese.
Location, this IBIS is quite near to Mall of the Emirates. Cross a road, quite heavy traffic, around 5 mintues. If you have large lugguage, go IBIS by metro, may not be very convenience. Wifi only available in lobby.

We liked the modern design of the lobby and the price. Because there is no internet in the rooms, one must come down to the lobby to log on. Since the lobby is full of internet users, the speed and download is slow. Unfortunately the lobby has a strong constant smell of cigarette smoke coming from the bar. After 30 mins in the lobby, feeling nausea, we had to leave. We did not experience that problem with any other building or lobby that we past through. The rooms were clean. The staff was not to attentive to first time tourist. I asked for tours, maps, ATM, orientation info and I wasn't given any direction. If coming to Dubai for the first time, this might not be the perfect location. It is a bit of a hike to and from the metro. Downtown has the old and new tourist stuff. We appreciate the chance to check it out.

Room Tip: If you want non smoking room, don't forget to request it.

It was good hotel to stay if you are fully busy in your touring schedule. I have been here with my husband and we had 4 days stay. In these 4 days, we were just coming back in night for a good night sleep and were leaving in morning after breakfast.
This hotel was located conveniently. Although as name suggests, "Mall of emirates", hotel is not so much near to Mall. There is quite a good walk of 10 minutes from Mall of emirates metro station. If preferring taxi then this hotel location is good choice as it is centrally located from most of the attractions.
Hotel rooms were typical Ibis sized but clean and quiet. Room service was also very fast even at late evening time.
Internet is not available in rooms but it was available in lobby, out of our 4 days stay it was down for 1 day.

All in all, if you don't have to spend too much time in room then this hotel is a good option.

It's a pleasure to read that you had a good stay with us at Ibis Mall of Emirates and overall you had a pleasant stay, the rooms were clean and quite, room service was very fast not to mention the hotels good location.

With regards the WIFI connection in the room, we are currently working on upgrading our internet and installing WIFI in the room and we hope to have it sorted soon.

Convenient location close to local amenities including the Mall.
At the time of my stay the Internet was malfunctioning which i was told was during an upgrade to the hotel system, however the problem persisted for three days and i had to leave for another hotel.

The IBIS hotel is known to be affordable one, the lobby was nice, the staff are good and helpful, they are also honest, as I forgot my wallet at the room I called asking them to check it out and they confirmed that it's in the room and nothing was lost from it.
The food was not that great but it served the purpose, there was a slight problem with the Internet after the upgrade was not solved. A small problem with the A/C but was solved immediately. I think they have to consider adding bein sports inside the rooms so the clients could watch UCL and laliga.
It's fair compared to the value paid.

We only stayed 2 nights and were busy exploring Dubai, so it served its purpose. Comfortable bed, clean. quiet room, efficient reception staff, spacious lobby area. Didn't have an inspiring view from our window, but what can you expect considering what we paid. Easy walk to Mall of the Emirates and metro station. Bar service was variable and drinks were expensive. We ate in the hotel both nights and enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was good value, plenty of choice.
