This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. The menu is extensive and the prices very reasonable. With your order they bring you this plate of pickled vegetables. A bit too sour for me but still nice that it comes with your meal. Then they bring you this big serving of fresh vegetables. We are not familiar with this way of eating... like do you just eat these chunks of cabbage and green leafy vegetables on their own? It's like screaming for a hot pot of soup to dunk them in!! We ate some of it but most of it got wasted. So with an appetiser and two main courses plus the bread they constantly serve you and their tasty fruit juices, it makes for a very full table of food, a lot of which is left unfinished. I noticed a lot of the vegetables on the other tables also going unfinished. Still it's nice that they are so generous with everything. Food wise their Hummus and Moutabel were delicious. Charcoal chicken and grilled quail was a bit dry but still tasty. Their shrimp sandwich with these tiny little shrimp was not very good...they seem to like to put fries in their wraps here which makes for a very dry filling. A lot of dishes are very cheap so it makes you want to try everything but remember all the other things they give you so don't over order. We came back twice to try different things but not game to try other dishes like tongue and brain!! It was nice to sit outside in the November weather. If I lived here I would definitely come back.
