I dont know why its named Shakespeare cafe as it has nothing to do with Shakespeare. No literature nor the decor. Having said that its a nice place for lunch or a quick snack. Located on Jumeirah Beach Road, its a popular place for regulars. Consists of both an indoor and open, covered area. The 1 difference from other open cafes is that the open area has fans to keep you cool during the blistering summer months. Service is good, food is a mix of Lebanese, Pastas & Pizzas, sandwiches, crepes and pastries. The crepes & local Saj are great as are the fresh juices & pastries. A snack with drink will cost approx. $20 per head and a main course will be double that. Try a mint lemonade or iced coffee with a crepe or Saj as a quick snack on a hot summers day.
