Description: Dubai's original Belgian Beer Cafe assures its visitors an authentic experience of an olden day bistro from early 1920s Belgium. Old fashioned beer taps, imported memorabilia and antique floor tiles line the restaurant giving it a warm, rural and lived-in feel, which you are sure to appreciate while enjoying the wide range of Belgian beverages. The authenticity also spreads to the kitchen, where hearty favourites of the homeland, such as the signature "Moules-frites" (mussels with fries), can be found.

“Very slow service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

We were there one Saturday afternoon early in January. While the general impression of the Belgian Beer Cafes is excellent, the service in the Festival City outlet was very disappointing. It took more than 20 minutes to bring drinks in an establishment that was empty except for some tables being occupied outside. Snacks such as cheese and bitterballs (bitterballen in Dutch) and other small snacks took equally long to bring to the table. The music was great and honestly I wouldn't mind that station at home. Hopefully this was a one off incident, as I understood they were in the middle of a management change. The settings looking out over Dubai are wonderful and if I was in a situation of visiting Dubai for business it would be worth a couple of hours, particularly just before sunset, with the magical colors.

“For the view and beautiful out door ambience in the winter time.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

I came here, when I was staying @ the Intercontinental with my family. We're looking somewhere outdoor with a view, then we found this place. And we took the outdoor table. It was so good, the view was stunning, the ambience was great. We don't drink alchohol, so just had some coffee and light food. It was a very nice late afternoon spend time in BBC. I don't mind to come back again.

“Great views on the teracce and decent food”

Tried many dishes here and my favorite is the beef stew. The fries are to die for. In winter months sitting outside on the terrace is really beautiful.

“Great Food and Energy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

Loved the burger and the mussels. These are the two no fail menu options... and of course the beer!
There is also live entertainment, so this bar is more suited for friends on a relaxed night out with some beer and large servings of food. Not for those who'd rather have a quiet conversation or a getting to know date.
