We arrived at 1:30pm, kindly greeted by the doorman who took our bags from the taxi and kept them for us for arrival at our room. There was a mistake done with our room type, so they apologised and upgraded us to a Palm/City view..could not complain! As our room wasnt ready we were given a Buffet voucher for the Kalidoscope retaurant which was absolotey fantastc.. so much food choice. staff here were very nice and give us a tour of the different variety of foods. Room was beautiful with great view. Grounds and pools are fantastic including the man made beach which was great for snorkelling. We arrived during a religious time so no alcohol was given out. Though we did get to twatch the football and given access to the VIP area which again wa fantastic. Access also to the lost chambers and aquaventure waterpark. As we didnt have our flight to late night.. we were given access to the hospitality lounge which included showering facilities. Overall a fantastic experience. Out of this world hospitality, architecture and food. Will be hopefully making an appearance again next year with family.

Ps: Tip: if your looking to get cheap transfer to airport. Get free shuttle into Mall of the Emirates and get metro to the airport. we paid £1.50 and this was about a 20 mile journey... waowww!

Room Tip: all rooms seem to be quiet. Soundproof windows! Do beforehand ask if you could possibly get a room w...

Just returned after our third visit to the Atlantis Hotel so had to leave a review. Truly amazing place that we just love to go back to. The hotel itself is stunning, and if you consider whats included with unlimited free access to the fantastic aquarium and the water park then in our view its very good value.

The rooms are very spacious, and well appointed with a beautiful bathroom. The food was great, particularly the extensive buffet breakfast (complete with chocolate fountain) which kept us going for most of the day.

I am sure you could spend a whole week here without leaving the resort, but if you do venture out into Dubia we would recommend a visit to the Creek and a tour on one of the traditional wooden boats.

We think Dubia is an amazing place, and this hotel is the best place to stay either for a complete holiday or as a stop over when travelling to the Indian Ocean.

I just had to post a rewview of this hotel, we went on our honeymoon last year and I should have posted sooner. It was the most amzing place I have ever stayed. We went half board and we had breakfast every morning in Rostangs which was fabulous, the little pancakes and chocolate sauce were amazing. We had lunch in the pool bar 2 days which was lovely and then dinner in Rostangs a few night which was again gorgeous. We drank cocktails in barazura nearly every night and we always tried to make it for happy hour and we sat and watched the world go by. We also ate in kalidescope but we much prefered rostangs

The pool was beautiful we always went to the main pool, the cool towels and ice pops were a welcome relief from the heat. Our room was lovely, very high up and we over looked the sea which was beautiful cause we could watch the sun go down from our balcony.

We visited the waterpark twice once it was brilliant we practically had the place to ourselves and the next time we went it was insanely busy but we enjoyed it none the less.

I have to compliment the hotel on their facilites for guests who have checked out and their flights are much later in the day. They had beautiful area for people to sit, our flight was not until 11pm and the area had lovely seats, newspapers fruits, water tea and coffee as well as beautiful indivual bathrooms and showers that were nicer than my bathroom at home, the lockers meant you could leave you bags and spend the day by the pool and then shower and change in comfort before your flight. Overall an amazing experience and Im saving to go back again.

We have just returned from 7 nights at the Atlantis. We cannot fault the hotel itself for service and care. The food that we had was excellent from all the restaurants that we could use with our vouchers (except one). Saffron for breakfast was brilliant, every food you could wish was on the buffet and the staff were super friendly. Plenty of sunbeds and and the Royal Pool was very warm and very clean. Happy Hour was really good value with 2 cocktails for the price of one. Our room was lovely with a view of the Palm and the room facilities were really good. We had a wonderful week there on our first trip to Dubai, yes it is expensive but you expect that at a 5 star hotel.
The only downside to our trip was that it coincided with a holiday weekend and hundreds of kids arrived with their parents. That would normally be no problem for us, but it seemed that as the parents stepped over the hotel threshhold they left their parental responsibilities behind. We have never seen so many ill behaved children being allowed to create havoc everywhere. Parents should be made aware by the hotel that they cannot allow their children to run around the inside public areas and restaurants screaming, shouting and misbehaving.
This is a family holiday hotel, with fantastic amenities but it would be so simple to satisfy all by making the smaller pool adults only and by giving each family a card, listing requirements of behaviour from their children.

Room Tip: Higher floors have the best views.

I've just got back from here after celebrating my 2nd wedding anniversary. We stayed for 3 nights which was lovely, would have loved to stay longer but was only looking for a short break. Totally re charged our batteries, some sun and great atmosphere. If you are thinking about booking here, it's fab everything is run so smoothly the staff are amazing the food is fantastic and it really is just a fab holiday. We went half board if your average people this is certainly the only option the prices are very high for food and drinks but if you are half board it helps balance the pennies a bit. Be prepared to pay though it's not cheap! But you are on holiday so just expect it and enjoy, as people say you get what you pay for. The desert safari is a must do worked out at around £45 each but does include your evening meal it's a fab afternoon/evening worth every penny. The views are amazing we opted for the palm view, you get access to the water park which is perfect and you can switch your time very easily from one pool to park in no time. We did a few slides a day to break it up and balance our short stay. Loved it so much and will be returning!

Room Tip: We opted for palm view and we could see the top of the aquarium below in the east tower it was beaut...

Hi Friends,

We stayed at the Atlantis for 2 nights last week and expectedly had a wonderful time. The pros and cons below :

Pros

1) Great exterior/interiors. Everything is larger than life. The lobby area is beautiful.
2) Excellent room size. If with kids opt for 2 queen beds (sleeps 2+2 comfortably).
3) The complimentary access to aqua-adventure and lost chambers is a big plus. Can spend day and a half just at these two places
4) Well organised despite being a huge hotel
5) Excellent transportation facilities. Taxi's available all the time. Shuttle bus to Mall of Emirates, Dubai Outlet mall and Burjuman Center. Take the shuttle and then move anywhere into the city. Will save a lot on travelling
6) Beautiful view from the room. I had the sea view but strongly reco. taking Jumeriah Palm view on the other side.
7) Staff everywhere to help you cos its easy to get lost and waste time
8) Good room service menu. Almost a heavy book with lots of options
9) Loved the environment inside the hotel. Everyone's happy. Having fun. Perfect holiday feel.
10) The staff at the entrance were quite attentive and take atmost case (check in or check out)

Cons

1) Food - Extremely expensive. You need to budget for this in advance unlike other hotels
2) For Vegetrarians/Indian - Food is a problem unless you are fine with Pizza/Pasta all the time. Surprisingly despite so many resturants they dont have a specifc Indian one. Must note that Indians form a large % of their guests. Will reco. taking the shuttle to Mall of Em. for dining.
3) The beach is a big let down. Man made. Actually its a "lake". No real fun apart from the fact that one could laze around it

Overall, great place for a short family holiday. Lots of do. Just keep your wallet heavy. Save somewhere else.

Happy Travelling
Gautam

Room Tip: Take the palm view.
