Jumeirah madinat jumeriah have many amazing restaurants one of which is The Wharf. Must book at night and parked the car and then take an abras (6minutes ruse on the man made canal) to and from restaurant/bar.
We been told it famous for rack of lamb (130 dhs), pan seared fillet of salmon (120dhs) and Angus steak (180-220dhs sirloin, rib eye and fillet). it signature dish is Slow braised short ribs (130 dhs). Each night they have a special dish eg wed is steam pot, thu is mussels. Outside at night is amazing view with the man made canal/lagoon and the back dropped is the hotel which built to resemble an old Middle East fort. With the lighting effects the view is very romantic. The setting inside the restaurant is your traditional pub and vineyard style.
The meal is started with local bread serve some sort of mustard, omg the mustard style paste is just "fully sick" oh wow yummy. It sort of like a cross between pate and English mustard with Caramelized onion all mixed into one. It is free and all you can bread.
Absolutely love the food and the view but best of all, for 5 person the total bill was 550 dhs.
