“A most exquisite mosque”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

This is a small mosque containing a tiled interior beautifully decorated with twisted mouldings in a delicate turquoise. The dome is superb, with white black and blue tiled floral trails above a drum of ultramarine tiles. White scripting finishes is off.

“The first mosque for women!!!”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

this mosque was the first mosque for women who is the only mosque which has a mustard colered dome... they have constructed it for the women who lived in A"li GHapou palace so it had some underground ways for women to pass...they were muslims and they didn't want the other guy watch their wives!!!

“Most beautiful mosque”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Very beautiful mosque with a riot of lapis blue and turquoise green. Both the inside and outside of the mosque has wonderful patternwork and one can spend hours admiring it. In the night it looks even more beautiful with the lights on, and the light reflects nicely on the shiny dome and blue exterior. Frankly, after seeing this mosque I did not want to visit any other mosque. Fantastic.

“World famous”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

It is supposed to be the prettiest mosqe in the world. The roof has mosaics in black and pink, which is quite unusual. Inside the colours are blue and green. I think the blue mosqe in Istanbul is nicer.
