A 4 handred years mosque
in Isfahan, which is one of the most famous historical attractions in the city. the mosque has been built during the Safavi emprore when Isfahan was the capital of the country. Tile works are very intresting , most of them are Moarragh which means that a tile is a combination of several parts , which is really difficult to be made. the mosque is beside the most famous squares in Iran which is Naghshe ja han or Imam square, four important elements here in the square are gathered to each other, the Aligapo palace( government), the Bazzar ( business & economy ) the Royal mosque which is known also as imam mosque and Jame Abbasi ( with religious, social and communicational functions ) and Sheikhlotfullah Mosque as a private mosque for the king family. it is interesting to know jast at the same time in the other part of the Islamic World in Ottoman empire we have a very simmilar complex in Istanbul.
