This is an absolutely beautiful bridge. I suggest you visit the bridge both in the day time and at night to truly appreciate the magnificence of its architecture. In the evening, people will come out and sing under the bridge and the echoing sounds of their voices makes the experience even more special.

A hidden part of the bridge that most visitors won't know about is the 2 stone lions. Stand on one side of the bridge behind a lion and look on the opposite side and you should see the eyes of the lion on the opposite side glow. It's quite a surprise when you do see it! There is a book shop on one side of the bridge and a place where you can buy tea and food. There is plenty of places to sit and drink your tea

The bridge is beautiful but unfortunately during winter there was no water on the river. That would have made it look even more beautiful.

Sit on the steps of the historical bridge from the golden period of Safavid Dynasty (16-18th Century), and enjoy the sound of the Zayandeh Rood river in the middle of Safavid, one-in-the-world capital city, called Isfahan. A big city, full of attractions that don't let you leave, because in first hours, you will fall in love with it.

The bridge of the Zayandeh river, which is dry at the moment and will only be filled with water in winter and spring. Nonetheless, it is still quite beautiful with actual cobble stones. On this bridge you can see the tea houses that were used by the shahs to watch the water spectacles in spring.
