Easily found and 20 minutes to money exchange, Imam Square, the bridges and the Armenian Quarter. Staff politely assisted when requested. Rooms spacious, clean, with aging decour but with firm beds and wifi works for free for email checks, as long as you don't download anything. Ask for a quiet room away from the main road. Good eateries nearby. For a Western style hotel ( I prefer traditional) very good value ($35 per double)Lift and lots of marble in the foyer. Traditional breakfast.

It was our worst hotel experience in Iran. We arrived early in the morning to Esfahan and directly arrived here to ask if they had room for us. The staff (a middle-aged men) at the reception told us to check-in, make the payment and come back at 12:00 when the room is prepared. We wanted to see the rooms before we make payment and he told that there was only one empty room with 4 beds and non-Western toilet. He obviously did not want to show us the rooms. We insisted to see one and at the end he had to show one room. Since we did not have other options for our budget, we had to accept it. But, the problems continued afterwards.

- There were no toilet papers, blanket sheets. As long as you do not ask, they do not put these utilities into your room.
- Wifi did not work and when we asked about it, the only suggestion we got was to turn off our mobiles and try again instead of providing new passwords.
- Under the bed, there were garbage and used tissues.

Overall, I definitely not recommend this hotel. We stayed in a couple of hotels during our two-week stay in Iran and this is the worst one!

The staff is extremely rude and hostile. We were put off by their behaviours and left the hotel without checking in. We looked for a couple of other hotels nearby but they were way above our budget, it was very early in the morning, we had no sleep and we had heavy backpacks. We were too tired to look for another hotel so we had to check in. That was unfortunate.

The hotel is located far from the center, 20-25 minutes walking from Naqsh-e Jahan Square, you wouldn't want to walk that in summer heat. We paid 950.000 Riyals for a double bedroom including breakfast. The uncomfortable bed was probably 30 years old, the toilet was stuffed, there was no towels, no sheets, no toilet paper, we had to ask for each of them and they were unwilling to help. Wifi hardly worked. They confiscated our passports despite asking for payment before checking in. I really didn't like this place.

The only minor problem could be location - you have to walk 15-20 minutes to the main square / city centre, but it didn't bother us that much. Totia is very clean, the room was spacious, as well as the toilet, quiet, with big TV screen and a fridge. You have to pay extra for the Wi-Fi but you can't have it all, can you? The breakfast was typical Iranian - with eggs, fresh cucumber, jams and butter, and there are two tasty restaurants 1 min walk from the hotel where you can have dinner at a very good price (ask the staff). The staff was helpful with arranging taxis and bus tickets for us. We haven't search another hotels as this was our first choice and we didn't regret it.

Very clean hotel, big rooms with nice bathroom and for a very reasonable price. The only downside is that you have to walk about 15 minutes to the city centre, although you can find cabs very easily outside of the hotel.
