Vank cathedral is the one the most interesting monument in Isfahan that is located in the Armanian quarter of Isfahan. Very close to river and si-o-se pol bridge. The architecture is magnificent.
You can feel Islamic Iranian+Armanian+European Architecture in this Church. And the people in Church are really friendly.

Interesting to see an Orthodox Cathedral in Iran. The murals tell the story of how it come to be here and there is a lot of history in the complex in which the cathedral is situated.

The paintings were fabulous and it was interesting to see how the Iranian architecture was blended into a Christian Church.
