Interesting to see an Orthodox Cathedral in Iran. The murals tell the story of how it come to be here and there is a lot of history in the complex in which the cathedral is situated.
The paintings were fabulous and it was interesting to see how the Iranian architecture was blended into a Christian Church.

Very great cathedral in Esfahan, I went there with my wife, there are few parking lot available near this building but there is a parking place. Sharbatkhaneh and Khangostar restaurant are here you may have lunch there.

It was my first time to visit a cathedral. The architecture was great and there were many breathtaking paintings inside the Church. Moreover, there are two museums in Cathedral, telling the story of Christian people who have been living here. In addition, I want to recommend you spend time for walking around Vank Cathedral. It has a nice atmosphere with old and beautiful alleys.
