“One of the most beautifil mosque not in Tripoli but in the whole Lebanon !”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

The mosque is located at the Southern entrance of Tripoli. Founded by Prince Sayf Al-Din Tinali on the Mamluk era in 1335. Has two compartments for pray, five domes and one minaret. It is the most beautiful mosque not in Tripoli only but in the whole Lebanon !

“Holy”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

All mosques in Tripoli are used and still working... the ruins inside it are from mixed times (egyptian, arabic, roman stones).
One advice: girls need to wear head scarfs to enter mosques.

“Calm Ambience”
Reviewed February 12, 2012

One of the few mosques open to non-Muslims is worth visiting in the ancient city of Tripoli.
The 700 year old mosque sits in quiet gardens, a relatively plain exterior, topped by its green domes. Though small you will enjoy the unique architecture and calm ambience. The Immam will explain the mosque’s history, and point out important features of the mosque.
