As you enter you find rustic furniture and which is kept that way because its does not get cleaned very often. Same is the case with rest of the hotel. The rooms are a little better they are kept clean, the room service is descent with a few tips in place. They do not have a lot of channels subscribed hence one has to adjust to what is available.

Restaurants in Marriott:
They have one which serves out food, but not the best of Marriott food that i have seen.

What other restaurants you can try while staying at Marriott:
Well you got lot of places to go to when you are here, if you are one of those who likes to go to only the up street restaurants then you gotta get a cab to tahlia street. Else if you one of those who has a taste for food (does not matter where its made) then you have toms of restaurants within 1/2 km radius. You could try Afghan, Kolkatta rolls, Lahore garden, Albaik etc .....

Best time to travel:
Any time except during Ramadan and Hajj period if you are not a muslim.

What other activities happen at this Marriott:
Over here ... Pretty Much nothing during normal days.

During Ramadan -
An elaborate Iftar which is simple finger licking good.
Breakfast Buffet is available from 12 AM- 4 AM after which food need to be order through room service.

Issues Faced:
Room service is sloppy.
Daily Breakfast not great.
You don't get the rooms that you specified as a preference during booking.
When hotel is over booked , they still give reservations and later tell guest that they in Minus and ask the guest to accommodate themselves in other hotels that they would book for you.

The only 5 star feature in this hotel is its lobby. The hotel and furniture is very old, the view from the room was a green water swamp, no coffee machine in the room and when i ordered coffee it took the room service more than half an hour to bring it!

spacious rooms and a great breakfast made me comfortable there.

Even in the evening, it was good to chill at the pool which is privately between the towers.

And then have the huge, I repeat , huge dinner buffet.

It is just a bit off, and not much leisure around.

I would stay there again, after repeated stays the tended to upgrade me occasionally,

so I felt well recognized.

Room Tip: king size bed - room

My family and I stayed in one bedroom suite at this hotel in July, we liked the location. The bedroom was comfortable, and so was the living room. Some of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food, but the food was a little bit more expensive. The hotel offers only wired Internet in the room, so wireless devices would be useless in the room. The lobby area near the reception where wireless Internet was supposed to work, was a lot of struggle. We did not enjoy Internet in this hotel at all.
