Owner description: This 853-foot fountain is reputed to be the tallest fountain in the world, and is best appreciated when illuminated at night.

The King's Fountain on the red sea is clearly one of the world's best man made fountains with brilliant engineering design and an astounding view from the entire city of Jeddah. Many fountains elsewhere have drawn inspiration from this majestic beauty which stands at
an impressive height of 1000 feet and until the last decade was the world's tallest.

Watching this fountain at sunset is extremely romantic and one of a kind, gets crowded during the week-end.

Greek magnate of shipping and oil tankerage Mr. Latsis had given this as a gift to city of Jeddah where he lived for some time when he had troubles in western hemisphere. It is a beautiful sight at sunset, really worth viewing.

i think if u visit jeddah shoulf come to Palestine Street Walk. From here u can clearly see the fountain n enjoy food in a variety of restaurants. and if u dont want to spend money u can enjoy ur home made food there n sit outside. its a must to visit the world's tallest fountain.

For over 30 years this fountain stood as THE one true Symbol and Icon of Jeddah. So if you are visiting Jeddah, make sure someone snapped a shot of you with this magnificent fountain on your backdrop.
