The view is most beautiful either at the beach or from Spears in Intercontinental. The illumination makes it stand out on a dark night specially. Must see!

You might think this is just one of those "Tourist Attractions" of Jeddah, it's not, it's THE TALLEST fountain of it's kind... a well over a 1000 feet!! More than 300 meters!! WOW!
And it was donated to Jeddah by a KING! King Fahd donated this Fountain to this Beautiful City... Hence, it was named after him! It is illuminated at night with 500 spotlights!! Looking at it would really lift ur spirits, the way it works... the way it lifts water up so high! It's Amazing!

many people like it, but i find it very average, just shooting water up so high nothing exciting. I would prefer a nice design, lights etc

Like many things in Saudia which you can see but not touch, the fountain is one of them. It is on Al Hamra beach in Andalus corniche at the Falasteen walkway west end. It a huge fountain.

And that is all there is to it. The best place to view it from is the Tree Square (Falasteen Walkway's west end) which was recently opened but now is very crowded and dirty thanks to the people. Please keep in mind you reach there early because it gets crowded in the evening and as it gets late at night. At the end of the day its just a fountain.
