Owner description: This 853-foot fountain is reputed to be the tallest fountain in the world, and is best appreciated when illuminated at night.

The foutain itself is impressive given the fact that it's the tallest one on earth. I advise you look at it at night because of light effects under it.
You can see it from the Cornich but I would recommend you go to Park Hyatt Hotel, and have a dessert at Nafoura and sit outside. You'll have a Fantastic view of it :)

It's the highest Fountain in the world. A really great scene at night. Recommended if you don't have ANYTHING else to do.

I was looking at the fountain each day and night as I was staying in the Park Hyatt in a room overlooking the Arabia sea. The fountain was there shining at night with all the lights directed towards it. It is huge and shoots at least 30 or 40 meters up in the sky. It is a constant cannon of water. It takes the shape of a tower that you can see from anywhere from the Jeddah sea front. It gets even great when a wind breeze flows as the blown water gives it the shape of a large sail. Just imagine how it becomes adding the lights at night.
While it is not dancing or moving like the Dubai Downtown fountain or the Bellagio one in Las Vegas, it remains that it is highly impressive and definitely one of the most beautiful water fountains I have seen.

Recommend having a look at it if you happen to be in Jeddah

Over 300 m, with over 18 metric tons of water in the air at any given moment... It is a mesmerising view, especially during a light sea breeze. sometime, there is a lazer show when sea breeze expands the water curtain wide enough
