This is a masjid over the waters. It give you good impression when you go in the masjid, as you see the water below.

From the front side where Imam stands for leading the prayer it's look like you are almost in the sea waters. Nice experience.

Most of the visit to this place I saw was south asians from Malayasia, Indoasia etc.

The drawback of this place is the bad smell due to what I don't know. The bad smell is outside the masjid but inside the masjid it is OK.

The praying area for families.. i.e., ladies is outside the Masjid and not inside hall as general it seems in other Masjid in Jeddah.

Nice experience, will visit again when get a chances to do so.

It has a unique engeenering / architectual design as it goes into the sea... Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. But a smelly coast, since all Jeddah sewerage is currently dumped into the sea.

I visited the mosque on November 7,2012 on my way home. This is an extraordinary mosque, coz it built on the verge of the beach..its a rare thing to find. The place is nice with a breeze wind, and there's some food stalls where you can buy drinks.

It is best visited in fall and winter when the weather is good (from November to end of April)
Viewing the sunset in the sea is marvelous while sitting with friends and making barbeque.

The toilets are not clean so it is better to consider this.

This place carries a lot of memories, we have been coming here with our parents when were still kids, now I come with my kids. Nice outer balcony like railing, beautiful to watch the sun set, when the sun dips west into the Red Sea
